Are all the rooms (other than the princess themed room) being remodeled or is it just certain buildings? It may have already been answered, but it is taking a long time for me to get through the thread.

On "Official" Threads, general information regarding the resorts is usually kept updated on the first page - you don't have to go through the entire thread for info.

As the PP stated, you can also go to Andre's website (not all "Official" threads have websites - we are very, very, very lucky).

We have an ADR for HDDR one night. Aside from a taxi, what would be the most convenient way to get from POR to Fort Wilderness?

They did last Feb. I don't see them getting rid of that anytime soon. So many children get them every morning.

great, thanks! We aren't big breakfast eaters but I think my boys would love these!

2 more days!!!!!!

Congrats!!! Yeah they are a simple get it and go breakfast. So yeah I know where your coming from.

Im not sure if this has been posted or not but here ate some prices that someone asked for Agee pages back
1. 1/2 gallon of milk $2.95
2. 6pk of pop $8.00- sprite, dietcoke, reg Cole
3. 24 bottle water-$16.00 I didn't see frozen pizza but they do sell 1/2 dozen bagels for $4.45, which is cheaper than the bakery at $2.79 each
There are toasters and microwaves in th food court that you can use.
PianoBob is amazing. Out kids loved him
Those were the measurements of the mattress of the Murphy bed. The platform that is on is several cm bigger all around. The drawers for storage underneath. Also shelf above the Murphy bed and shelf above were you hang clothes.
The nice thing is at the back of the shower /tub, there is a bench seat which is good for people who may not be able to stand long in the shower, like knee issues or some similar.
That's all the ?'s I can remember at this point. We have a few more days, so if someone thinks of any, let me know.

:thumbsup2Thanks for the info, that kinda gives me an idea on what we'll be spending out of pocket at the store there. Do they have the 6pk little bottles of pop or were they just cans? Thought we might buy those, then we could rinse them and fill them with water on our own so we don't have to buy the water. That price was expensive:scared1: Milk price doesn't seem too bad but the 6pk of pop for $8.00, WOW!!!!!

From looking at the map it looks like there is a bridge that goes from some of the locations to the main building and food court? Is this correct? I am planning to book a princess themed room so I guess I would be in Pattere or oak?

There is a bridge between Parterre Place and Oak Manor.

It takes you to the front part of the Main Building between the lobby and Fulton's General Store. You proceed to the back of the building for the food court.

We are thinking of staying at POR for our next trip. We have only stayed at POP. How does the size of the resort compare? Thanks.

Since there is no resort to resort transportation, you need to go to a park first. I think the best way would be to take a bus to Magic Kingdom and then the boat from MK to Fort Wilderness. You'll want to allow plenty of time for that. If you go to one of the two later shows of the night, there will be buses waiting to take you directly back to POR. If you go to the first show, you'll need to take the boat to MK and then a bus back to POR.

Starting to get some serious information overload. Now that everyone knows we are going everyone has got an opinion about certain parks & they are either calling or emailing me with various information.

I'm shutting my brain down lol

For those who want to save on water, this is what we did:

At home we purchased boxes of Wyler's Light in different flavors. Boxes are small so they pack easy. On arriving at POR I went to Fultons and got DW and I 2 bottles of water. We carried the bottle and some Wyler's with us and filled as needed along the way. Big money savings on water and with the MUG we had all we needed for a ten day trip.

We did the same thing last year, when I was traveling with 2 families on a budget.

They bought the refillable mugs at the resort and hooked them onto the stroller at the parks. I brought crystal lite to go. Then they would refill them at a water fountain and mix in the crystal lite if needed. Worked great for them.

Great idea! :thumbsup2

Just paid off my second package for our stay...now just waiting!!! Since we have no park tickets our first room only day, it will be my day to take photos of the resort! I can send my teens to the pool and take photos as long as I want or until my husband arrives at 7pm...whichever comes first!!!

We are doing the same thing! We got this tip from one of the employees at Barnes & Noble who use to live in Orlando.

I keep hearing people who just arrived or got home and I am so supprised we are not seeing pictures. Hey! we want to see your pics!!!!

I know Denise from Mousesteps took several hundred photos at POFQ and POR today, which should be up on her website over the next few days. I'll post a link as soon as she uploads them.
