I booked on Oct. 4th and the website said Queen then. I don't understand why they even added that QUEEN BED description to the website until the refurb was done. Our party was there for 4 nights in one room and 5 nights in another room. Both were booked per description on the website. The place was not full on our dates Jan. 6th through the 11th. There were rooms empty and no one was on the other side of us the entire time.It totally irritated me that we didn't get queen beds. We would have booked elsewhere.
They put queen beds in the desciption instead of double beds because they knew folks wold pay more for queen beds than they would for double beds. "a little disappointed" is an understatement. There are only "limits to what they can do" if we let them set those limits. We've got the upper hand here. Insist on queen beds. If they don't offer you queen beds, ask for a river view, preferred, or king room. Ask if they can acommodate you at POFQ. The situation will not "remedy itself naturally" during your trip. It's up to us to B & M until they live up to their end of the bargain. If Disney chooses not to sufficiently invest in website and reservation system quality control, they will have to pay the price at checkin.
