I will be visiting in two week for the first time since multi pass lightning lane was introduced. I want to make sure I understand it correctly, and want to make sure I am getting the most out of it.

I can purchase this 7 days before my check-in day, for the length of my trip and I can make 3 pre-selections for each day? When can I book a fourth LL - is it after I redeem my first one at the park? Is there some strategy to getting the most out of it? I understand there is a tier system to book the rides, so that was a little confusing to me. Do the tier one rides ever open up the day of, or should I be booking my main priority rides when I can make my advance selections?

Booking opens at 7am ET one week before your check in day. Going two weeks from today, if your check in day is 5/25, then you would be able to book LL at 7am EDT on 5/18. I believe it's actually up to two weeks from the check in date that you can make reservations. You'll be able to book another LL as soon as you tap into your first one. Of your three prebooked LL, only one of them can be a Tier 1. Once inside the park and your first LL tapped into, the Tiers disappear for the rest of the day. There are usually a small number of tier 1s available still to book once you get into the park and there are drops throughout the day of more. Don't count on anything more than what you prebooked, take everything after that as a bonus.
