Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter Room Request Fax Thread

Thank, Thank you all very much! I am saddened today for I had to help make arrangements for my friend. Long story short before anyone judges reading this. Not saying anyone does. But We were heading towards Planet Hollywood to eat when someone not familiar with the area pulled out suddenly and struck my friends bike going over him almost. He didn't survive the accident. I don't want to describe further about the hows and what ifs. But we were not fooling around on the bikes or acting stupid when this happens.

I am not asking for support or pity. Just explaining where I have been away on and off. But will try to be on as soon as possible.

That is a very tragic thing to witness and a tragic loss. I know many times we all have bemoaned motorcycles. They scare me only because people don't always watch out for them or think they can out run them. I'm so sorry you have to experience this tragedy. Prayers to you and yours and the family of your friend.

Well Thank you for your kind words. I have decided I am selling my Bike. I had already thought about it and this gave me the last piece I needed I guess. Yes anyone could pass in almost any situation but I cant take that risk anymore someone could hit me and my family would be left without me.

Thank you for the thoughts from my extended Canadian friends! Just taking it one day at a time. But to me it feels a lot like as if I were to lose a son or daughter still in my heart. I still have to step back from work, or whatever I am doing to clear my head and reboot so to speak, then walk back out there and put on a smile for Guests.
