Port of SD webcam?!

There was a prior thread containing the port of SD webcam... I clicked on the link and the camera isn't pointed at the port anymore.

Does anyone have a new port of SD webcame so I can watch the Wonder leave today?

My parents are on the ship and my DDs want to watch their grandparents sail out

There isn't one that's dedicated to the port anymore. There is one that has several angles around the port area:

Underneath the picture are 5 blue boxes (different camera angles). Unfortunately the cameras all move around within their specific area. The first one (Harbor Island E) seems to point toward where the Wonder is sometimes (she would be to the left of the navy carrier there. The Shelter Island E one also sometimes points in that direction. But none of the stay looking directly at the port.

If you want to turn off the annoying weather/radio just click on one of the green buttons til you find one that doesn't make noise.

click on the Harbor Island (E) feed. Depending on the zoom and direction, sometimes you can see it and sometimes you can't. You'll also see the Star of India (oldest active sailing ship although currently the sails are down), the Midway aircraft carrier museum and lots of sailboats and waverunners.

Edit: The Stars sails are up, just hard to see since it's pretty far away...

Thanks for the info about the web cam. My brother is on this cruise also. Enjoyed waiting for the camera feed to move around to finally showing the Wonder! I wish I was shoving off today for a 2 week cruise!

I read on another cruise board that DCL is dropping Cabo and Puerto Vallarta and adding 2 sea days for this cruise in order to avoid Hurricane Odile.

Yes, they are. Once my brother got onboard, he called to let me know they would be missing both of those ports. He has been to both previously so wasn't very disappointed. I feel bad for those who wanted to visit them. That's the risk of cruising this time of year!

Yea, my parents got an email from DCL while I was driving them down to SD to board the cruise on Thursday. It's a bummer to miss Cabo but they're just happen to be taking a nice long vacation. Our family is usually busy running around so they were looking forward to some downtime

Would love it if someone onboard could post storm updates. I've been tracking the Wonder on a website but would feel better if we got actual updates from people.

Here's the update from someone who was on the boat:

We hit Odile and Polo, and a couple tropical storms (one on the east coast.). Midway through the cruise they changed the name to "Hurricane Evasion Voyage!". It was all handled well but they pointed out 90% of the entertainment cancelled last minute.
