Any suggestions where to stay for a family of 13 , flying In The night before the cruise
? Any hotels that might have a shuttle pick up from FLL airport to. Hotel ? Thank you .

Given how close the cruise port is to the airport, staying close to the airport is definitely a good option... and will save you quite a bit of $$$ vs staying at a beachfront property. If a shuttle is a must, the Homewood Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruiseport might be an option. Homewoods are family friendly and does offer some larger rooms such as a 2queen 1bedroom suite that can house up to 7 people (with the sofabed). The Home2Suites might be an even more interesting option as it is newer, has a shuttle to the airport (free) and offers a shuttle to the port (paid). The one thing with the H2S is that I find their bed a bit hard... but they're nice...some rooms sleep 6 people. Personally, my 1st choice is the Embassy Suites... but it is a paid shuttle to/from the airport.

All of the above offer complimentary breakfast.

We stayed at the Marriott Ft Lauderdale airport. New, clean, rooftop pool, walking distance to outdoor mall with dining and shopping. Free shuttle to airport.

They offer a paid shuttle to the port. We are a family of 4 so we just used Lyft.

I would absolutely use them again. I prefer the port proximity to the airport at Ft Lauderdale over Port Canaveral /MCO.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites with a large group. It was...fine. Breakfast prior to cruise was crowded. Rooms are spacious and can sleep 6 and though an older hotel it's had a recent facelift. Pool was again, fine. It got the job done. No airport shuttle and port shuttle charges a fee. We just used Uber/Lyft to get around.

This is our plan. We stayed there last cruise during the remodel and liked it, and will like it even more after the remodel. Even though they have a shuttle (small fee per person) to port, we still got our own transportation to allow for flexible timing based on our PAT.

We stayed at the Cambria (airport port) in Dania and really enjoyed it. We had a large group (for my son's wedding) and the lobby had a great sitting area in it with couches and a bar/restaurant. The night before the cruise we all hung out there. The price was very good for what we got. Loved the rooms! The pool was a basic pool but we didn't use that.

If I recall they have a free shuttle from the airport, but if you want a shuttle to the port there is a charge. It's about 6 miles from the port. I would stay there again for sure.

Just wanted to follow up to say that overall we found the Port Everglades cruising process much easier than Port Canaveral. Fly in, easy hotels/ubers, fly out.

We are booked in at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, from researching this hotel is a pickup point for DCL transport to the cruise port. Not 100% on that info as nothing has been released for 2026 per the DCL chat/ human I spoke with to pre book.

Private car/ bus service would be a good deal for your large group, we have done private service from MCO to various Disney resorts in Orlando with great success.
