My son just said, hey, in a couple of days everyone in the world can look up at the moon and know that four people are flying around it. True, and just incredible!

The sad thing is this was also true over 50 years ago, but then not since.

I keep checking the watch count on NASA’s livestream and it has made my heart so happy to see it steadily increase throughout the day. We’re up to 435k at the moment!

I'm excited! These astronauts are such brave people, willing to perch themselves on such a thing and in the name - I like to think - of unity. America is such a divided nation at the moment, but this is bringing people together.

CBS & NBC have both said they will have live coverage starting at 6 pm. I’m sure ABC will as well.

Yep, all three networks' news departments are providing coverage. It's possible that some of their affiliated stations chose not to take the feed. My local affiliates are all showing it.

I've been watching the NASA app on my Roku but just checked the broadcast networks to see what they were doing.

I watched it via Prime who had the NASA feed. ABC's feed was cut short as they went back local news, they got the launch and stuff afterwards they just didn't stay as long as the NASA feed was. I put both on to see if they were different.

...and they can take photos of it flying around the moon...3 folks on our community have captured Astriod crater impact marks with their slice of bread phone they carry in their pocket.
So they Are confident in photos of the orbital rocket
