Hello! I am cruising with my family, and extended family. Do we all (14 of us) have to check in at the same time. Some want to go earlier, while others want to check in later. TIA

All the people assigned to a specific stateroom need to check-in together. Even if your reservations are linked, they go by the staterooms.

Every time I have checked in, the most recent being 2 months ago, I drop my wife and kids off and they go check in just the three of them while I return the rental car and then when I get back I just check in myself while they finish registering for the kids club and it works perfect for us every time.

No, just make sure that each person has documents that will be left behind. You can check in with no problem and even board without if necessary. This is from
Personal experience as well.

I have checked in everyone without my husband being there as he was returning the rental car. We got in the ship. They just kept his key card at the supervisors desk until he arrived and showed an ID. Then he came onboard.
