Hi all!
Our arrival time for our cruise on the Wish this Friday is 2:30 - 2:45. I usually park off site, but I’m thinking it might be better to just park at the port this time. Does anyone know if parking is still available at the port that late in the day?
Thx!

I've never seen the parking lot at the DCL terminal fill up.

The Wish is sailing out of Terminal 10 which is a shared lot and will not likely fill but you might have a bit of a walk. I would check the app for an earlier PAT as I think right now you have the latest one offered. If you arrive closer to 2 (possibly closer to 1:30 PM) they are normally just focused on getting everyone onboard and no longer care about PATs

For the life of me I do not understand why they put the Wish in a non Disney terminal... I'm sure there's a practical reason for it but it seems to me the Magic should be relegated away from the Disney terminal rather than the flagship vessel!

I wonder what the long term plan is... Seems like they need to build an additional terminal for DCL...

I speculate but don’t have any real knowledge they are trying to make the Magic have the better experience than the already newer Wish. However I don’t find the DCL terminal that big of a draw. We have sailed out of other terminals more than PC and have hard smoother and faster boarding outside of the DCL terminal so I’m actually hoping maybe that will hold true for our upcoming sailing out of terminal 10 though I’m not holding my breath.

You have the Treasure and Magic sailing out of the DCL terminal. It's probably because of parking since the Magic has a lower capacity.

My guess is unless Disney commits to more sailings out of PC, and paying what ever fee goes with "owning" a terminal... things stay as they are. And reality is I'm not sure PC, is looking to sell a "terminal spot" like they did with Disney.... back when PC was a nobody terminal. Lot's of growth going on over the next few years, as new and bigger ships are planned to be homeported at PC.

Do know that PC is plans at expanding Cruise Terminal 10's capacity is underway.... goal is to accommodate the worlds largest cruise ships (1,200 ft and up to 5600 passengers). Canaveral and MSC have some big ships on the way....

Due in 2027 to PC is MSC's World Atlantic similar to World America in Miami with dimensions of approximately 1,094 feet long and 154 feet wide, and a height of 22 decks. It can accommodate between 5,240 and 6,762 passengers, with a crew of 2,138 people. The ship is powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and features 2,614 staterooms, 19 dining venues, 18 bars and lounges, six pools, and 14 hot tubs. :scared1: With current parking issues existing at PC, massive improvements are needed.

The Magic is DCL’s flagship vessel. However it has home-ported in many cities so I doubt that is the reason it has the DCL terminal at PC along with the Treasure. I suspect the reason the Wish is at terminal 10 is simply due to schedules — the Wish and Treasure are more likely to both be in port at the same time. Moving the Magic wouldn’t have resolved the conflicts.

Magic is just filling in the Fantasy’s spot while it’s in Europe for the summer. The Treasure is only doing 7 nights Saturday- Saturday and Wish is doing Friday to Monday, Monday to Friday. So they aren’t going to be at PC the same time, Fantasy when she returns will be.

It must have been the Fantasy schedule I looked at. Regardless, I think the decision to put the Wish at a different terminal was driven by scheduling and not based on flagship status.

On embarkation day, the garage parking is open until the ship departs. The pay-station kiosks only accept credit cards as there are no parking attendants.

Unlike the DCL Terminal (#8), if you are dropping off luggage, you will enter the garage first. After the pay-station, you will drive into a parking garage which will be on your left side. Drive through this garage and enter a second parking garage. Continue through the second parking garage and as you exit the garage building, follow the sign for luggage drop-off on the left.

If you miss the luggage drop-off turn, do NOT exit the parking lot through the exit gates - otherwise you will have to pay for parking again.

A nice feature of Terminal #10 is that there are two embarkation/debarkation gangways. But for embarkation, Disney only uses one to allow all guests to enter directly into the Grand Hall. On debarkation, the second gangway is used so guests can exit either on deck 3 (Grand Hall) or deck 4 (Promenade).
