Por Xmas 2008

Hi we are due to stay at POR next xmas, we don't actually arrive untill xmas day. Do you think we will still get a decent location (AB 14,15,16 or 18 hopefully) or will all of the decent location rooms have gone, can't see many people checking out on xmas day.

Also not fussed about going into one of the parks that day as it will be late in the afternoon when we arrive, any suggestions on what else we could do

We have stayed at WDW over Xmas & was surprised how bust check-in/ check-out was. So you might get a good room - who knows?

I know some suggest faxing the hotel to put in your room request a few days beforehand but I have never done this.

POR is a lovely resort & on arrival you could eat there, go to the pool or catch a boat to DTD for a look around. Depends how tired you are.

If you are planning on eating at a TS restaurant you will need to make an ADR as it will be so busy!

We have stayed at POR loads of times - check in staff are very accommodating so get them to go through all your options regarding rooms, they will do their best to help
