POR Water View with Trundle????

Just wondering what our choices are for room locations. I just booked POR with a water view and we are a family of 5, so we'll need the trundle bed. Aren't these rooms in the Bayou section only? I am not sure I'll like the theming of these rooms. Any chance we can stay in a mansion and ask for a cot or something. Anyone have pics of the two rooms? Any other POR tips or info would be great too. Thanks

Stayed at POR for the last 6 years. Its not worth the extra money for a water view because of all the bushes. Maybe if your on second floor you can see but there is no advantage for the pools. The trundle bed works great my 6 year old sleeps on it with no problems. Will be booking there in Sept. and bringing along a first timer. Sorry no pics but look on some of the unoffical sites and they have pictures.

Well we had to book water view because there were no standard rooms available. I was hoping by "water" we could face a quiet pool. Maybe I should keep trying to call and get a standard room.

I always pay for water view at the mods, just to ensure I dont get a parking lot view =)

We just got back from POR, and were in the Oak Manor bldg. We had a parking lot view, but were on the corner and also faced the center courtyard. It didn't really bother me to have a parking lot view, because that just meant that we were on the side of the bldg. that was closer to the bus stop. Honestly, I'm not sure that we were ever really in the room during daylight hours (except maybe first thing in the morning) so the view wasn't that important.

To the OP, I don't think that you can get a cot, especially since the AB rooms are the only ones that say they can accomodate 5 people (over 3). From what I have seen, the rooms look nice in the Bayou section, and I was actually hoping to be put there.
