POR Pool Question

I can't easily find this info in the POR thread...do any of the pools have a hot tub? Planning on going in January and the kids have to get wet or its not vacation. If it's too cool for the pool, the hot tub will work.

This may determine if we stay mod or deluxe...

There is one hot tub at the main pool only.

All moderate and all deluxe have a hot tub, with an exception of the Poly. Someone will correct if I'm wrong.

All the resort pools are supposed to be heated. We went in November one year and getting out of the pool was the worst part. The pool at POR has a pretty good slide for pre-teens and a large hot tub. January can get very cold in Florida, good luck.

We stayed at POR the first week in November last year. The mornings were chilly and the days didn't get over 75. The pool was heated well though and the hot tub was perfect. While the landscaping around the pool was beautiful it created way too much shade around the pool which meant getting up at 8am to grab a sunny seat or sitting in the shade all afternoon.

We were there in September and the hot tub at POR was closed for refurbishment. Since January is the slowest time of year (even slower than September!) just keep an eye on the refurbishment schedule. I'd imagine they'd do refurbishments on a hot tub when the weather is hot rather than when its cold, but you never know!

When we went in Novemeber the pool was comfortably warm. Like a PP said, the worst part is getting out. Since FL is usually so hot, the shade is usually a welcome reprieve however when it is cold, it tends to be brutally so.
