POR buses - what time to leave to be at park when gate opens?

What is the best time to get to the bus depot at POR to head out for normal park hours (9:00am) and also for Early EMH hours (8:00am) so that we are there when the gates open?

How long does it take for the bus to get to a park?

The bus rides to the parks weren't more than 15-20 minutes. We found leaving our room around 8:15am brought us to the parks at rope drop every morning.

We usually left our room by 7:45 each morning, used the West Depot, and were at the parks in PLENTY of time! Actually, we usually waited about 30 minutes for the park to open after arriving.

This is a bit off topic, but I wanted to say that I was very pleasently surprised by the busses. I had heard so many bad things about the POR busses that I was a bit scared. We never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a bus and even after leaving Fantasmic and Spectromgic at the end of the night, we only had to wait about 15 minutes with the rush of people.....overall the busses were a great experience.

We will be in POR Dec 2008. The resort looks beautiful, my only concern was about bus transportation. I am so happy to see several good responses. We decided we could always take a taxi if we are running late for an ADR.
Any experience with taxis?
