Staying at POR 12-18th. Done a little checking and found that POR is unavailable this weekend through next week, should I be worried about crowds? POFQ is available - I thought it was smaller and would have thought it would be booked before POR.

Also, should I be worried I won't get AB section even though it is noted on ressie? I really have my heart set on the AB section.

Thoughts?

(I guess this is last minute nerves)

I'm staying there Oct 13-20 and want Mansion not AB. Maybe if we each get the section that we DON'T want we could switch with each other! LOL

I'll be there October 13-19. Maybe we will all run in to each other! Be sure to have some lime green on you!

I requested Alligator Bayou as well. But I will be happy with whatever they give me, I'm sure.:goodvibes

I'll pretty much miss you guys as we check in on the 19th. The closer I get to any trip to WDW the more I notice that the resorts are filling up. I think that that is normal at Disney; to have the resort be "at capacity" as it gets closer to the date. I also think that resort capacity is lessen during the off peak season by taking some rooms out of service. One of the good things about staying at a "big, spreadout" resort is that you don't notice the other people as much.

Have a great time fellow POR people

I have been at the resort while it has been at capacity without any issues!
Have a wonderful Time!!

I've stayed at POR at least once a year every year since it has been open and have been there at all times of the year and have never noticed a problem. Honestly we've been there when it was at 60% and when it was at capacity and didn't notice too much of a difference! You won't really notice it around the buildings...the place you'll notice it most would be bus stops or food court or when you check in! I would in no way be worried about it being full. As for whether you'll get AB or not...I really can't answer that. We've tried to get AB in the past, but had to go to Magnolia. If you check in earlier (before check in time or as close to that time as possible), you will be more likely to get AB. When they make a note on the reservation, that's all it is...a note...which they will try their hardest to accomodate. I would not worry about that either because they usually give you the room you want. In recent years, we have not had any problems getting the room type we wanted.

Don't worry about it and enjoy! Everything will work out fine. I'll be down there too in December (during Christmas week) for my honeymoon and cannot wait! Have a great trip!

Thanks - good to hear!! Hope to run into a bunch of Disers while I'm there. :thumbsup2
