Popwarner week at Disney busy? HELP!!

Is the week the popwarner/superbowl/cheer competition make the parks overly crowded? We picked this time to go because we thought it would be less busy. Has anyone went during this time? Can you please tell me about what it was like??

We've gone the first or second week of December the past 5 years and it really does not have much affect on crowds. They are busy at their competitions at WWoS during the day. You will see groups of teens here and there but nothing major. They usually have an after hours party for them at one of the parks. The only big affect I have heard of is at All Stars where most stay and possibly the moderates. We always stay at BWV, it's never been a problem.

This is a great time of year to go! All the Christmas activities are wonderful and low crowds! Can't wait!!!!

When is it this year? There is no availabilty at the All-stars on 12/5 and I was wondering if it was because of that.

Between pop warner and mouse fest, everything is booked at that time. I booked a real last minute trip for Dec. and found to my dismay that it was pretty busy. I was told that if I were to check in 2 days later it wouldn't be so bad. And, of course, I'll be staying at AllStarsMusic for the first time!!! Ah well. I'll be in WDW, so nothing is going to bother me!!!!
