Hi all,
this can only happen to me i swear. So i was at work tonight, and we get a run for something. I don't remember exactly what run right now. Anyway it turns out to be a false alarm, so i walk bacjk over to the rig and put all of our toys away. The rig's door is big, heavy and huge, it takes a hard push to close it. I slam it once and it does not catch right and swings back open, so i grab it and with all my might i give it a hard slam to swing it shut and it works and slams shut.

Right then i hear our rookie screaming bloody murder, i look up and over the window of the door and his hand is caught in it, apperantly he saw me try to close it the first time and fail, so he figured he give it a pull from inside the rig at the exact moment i gave it the second a swing from outside the rig. Somehow the door hit his hand and puched it into where the door close and it closed on his hand. Now i quickly grab the handle and try to open it and it won't budge. His hand being in the door has thrown it off blance and won't allow it to be re open since the pins in the door are off blance.

I really thought i was gonna have to cut the door off my own rig to get his hand out. We worked on it for a few moments and finnaly got his hand out without having to cut the entire door off. I felt so bad, We took him to the local hospital where x-rays confirimed a broken hand in 3 places. He's out of work and in a cast for the next 6 to 8 weeks. Still the FDNY will pay him his salary since it happened on duty, but i felt so bad. HE told me it was not my fault and an accident, i kept telling him how sorry i was. After they gave him some mophine for the pain, he told me he was taking the entire crew out for lobster and beers his treat.


All is well here, i am off until friday (the non-dirty danicing banana ) Al right gang good night!!!!!!

Today is the LAST day of summer vacation here!

We're going to go to the pool, and then I'm taking the girls to get their nails (fingers/toes) done for tomorrow.

My Rosa Regale is chillin for our WAHOO breakfast in the driveway.....my friends & I drink champagne and eat chocolate donuts on the first day of school.....the kids only go to school till 11 so we chat, catch up from summer, and then walk down to school to pick them up.

Then on Thursday, it's the boo hoo breakfast! for the rest of the school....we buy bagels/coffee for those sad K & 1st grade parents, who are sad that they're kids are going off to school....THAT has never been me that's for sure!

Although, Casey starting 8th grade is a bit overwhelming for me...next year she will be in HIGH SCHOOL! THAT I'm not ready for.

PJ, OH NO!!!! I hope his hand heals well.

Happy Tuesday!! Nothing exciting going on today, so i'm thinking kiddie gym and the once a day trip to the post office! haha! I have a notice that they have something for me there! I was giving the kids a bath for all of 30 minutes and go figure the mail man comes RIGHT THEN and rings the bell grrr....

I am hoping for calm kids today, so i used the Lavender night time soothing bath shampoo today! (yeah right, it will probably have the adverse affect!!!)


Ohhh you will never believe what happened to me at the Drs. yesterday! i was soo embaressed haha! Sal thought it was hilarious when i told him in the waiting room. I took a shower in the AM with my Victorias Secret Love SPell gel and I have the body creme and the sparkle lotion! Well I meant to put the sparkle lotion on my arms like always, but for some reason I was distracted and put the sparkly lotion on all over. I didn't realize b/c I had jeans on. Well As i'm getting undressed in the room I notice my thighs are like a disco ball, there is sooo much sparkle lotion on them!!!!! I didn't want him thinking that I did that for the appt!!! I tried to get it off, but if anyone has experience with this stuff, it's like SPRAY PAINT! I felt like such a weirdo and i'm sure i was the talk of the day hahahahaha!!

already scheduled! I am going in October 7th for a mani/pedi and wax! I know i am having a C-section, but I figured Just in case hahaha!! I'm tired of Sal messing up my toes! Rebecca, I had an idea for your craftiness! Since you kow how to sew, you can tackle pillow case dresses, they are super easy to do on the sew-know-how from what I hear and sell for too much money on EBAY! hahah! i'm NOT a fan of the pants that peopel make to go with them, i think it's tooo overboard (no offense to the pant lovers) but i love the dresses!!

This is an animal kingdom themed one! you could do like a 4 pack so that someone going on vacay can buy them all at once One for each park
