OT question - has anyone ever tried to schedule your time for you? If so, what has your response been? I can provide details after, but I kind of want to know how you guys handle meddling people.

Yes!!! And we ignore them! Now that we have kids, our families feel that our lives are theirs to deal with! Sal gets the most mad, I just try and figure out how to calm him down! Everyone feels the need to see ever every weekend and we live AN HOUR AND A HALF away from anyone! THEN they complain about how far we live if they hae to come out here! grrr...The latest is everyone thinking that we are lying about Autumn being in Speach therapy on the weekend, just to get out of visits Believe me, I don't need to lie about that, I could just say um..no we're busy and leave it at that. ...alright i just got myself all worked up!

Morning everyone I swear if i have to pee on more time in the next 20 minutes i am going to SCREAM! This baby has positioned himself RIGT ON MY BLADDER! I was up all night and no matter which posistion I turned OR sat up, he didn't move anywhere Already as stubborn as his dad

Chris, another thing that sells well on EBAY are odds and ends LOTS. Since i'm a beader I put a case together of ALL kinds of beads, findings, charms and all that stuff that i had laying aroudn the hosue. Stuff that i would never use. I do a major clean out of all my stuff once every now and then and I usually just toss it, but this time the lot was pretty big and I through it up there. I did .99 with 9.95 S&H. THEN it ended up closing at 32$ and with S&H almost 42$! it was amazing! I almost tossed all that!!

So if you have odds and ends of stickers and embellishments and such, go for it! I have to go through my scrapbooking stuff to do that too

Good Morning everyone -

Nasty storms last night huh? The lightening storm was amazing!!!! We had the big 14foot umbrella up outside....& I had togo out & close it....WHOOSH all the water on top of the umbrella came rushing down on myhead! hahahaha it was quite the comical moment!

Good idea Mich on the "lots" I'll have to get some of those going...I'm happy now...nearly all my 42 items have bids or watchers at least.....

We're going to Navy Pier today Maybe the sun will peek thru.

My parents do that to us all the time "If you hadn't moved SO far away..blah blah blah"

Morning!! Still raining here. I love this July though. I love having the windows open with the milder July temperatures.

ok so, YES I live with that all the time....What do I do in response.... - Well I've learned to say NO - it's hard...I also make crud up - like "no sorry I can't do that for you today - I have a doctors appointment" - if they ask "which doctor" I just say "the gyne" typically they stop asking....obviously that doesn't work with dh or mom. for them, I just listen quietly, and then say - Sorry, don't know if I'll have the time.

Oh, at TDS, I got Jul a pair of Tinkerbell jeans and plain jeans with the crown on the back pocket. And I got some Fairies tableware for her. She is so into the Fairies right now. I didn't see anything else I HAD to get. But I think I may go back.
One thing, usually our TDS has the same few women working there, and they are so sweet and disneylike. Well, the other day there was this very undisneylike man working there and he totally ruined the disneyness of it all. Disclaimer: I am sooo not anti-tattoos. So don't think I am. (You MIGHT even be able to find one on me if you looking hard enough. ) Now, we were waiting in line and the guy was talking to the couple in front of us and he was asking about the guys big leg tattoo. It kind of killed the usual disney feeling because I am waiting in line at the disney store with my sweet little 7 year old girl and she is listening to all this. KWIM?

Hi everyone !

Tia left this morning ! She should have been home sometime tonight - her and Ryan were going to drive straight through.

It was supposed to be a 12 hour drive but she hit some nasty weather a couple of times and construction.

I hope they had a good time. We kept ourselves pretty entertained and busy busy ! My house is SO quiet tonight I almost don't know what to do with myself !

Yesterday was fun - Navy Pier was crowded but fun. It was really windy - being up in that giant ferris wheel was a bit scary actually - you could feel the thing swaying!

Casey is testing her juvenile moves today for skating, so we'll be at the rink for the morning.
