Howdy everyone! Back from my show! It was fab, but of course it could have been waaay better, but it was fun and I was able to then leave and buy my new camera!! it's fabulous!!! I love it!!

Hi gang,
I'm home, we had a engagement party to attend tonight. I had a blast, really great italian food and lots of family. I am popped!!! I go back to work tomorrow( sunday) I have just 4 shifts left until i leave for disney. Remember Ds does not know yet and everyone keeps slipping and saying it. Ds still has not figured out where were going on friday yet, he asked me and dw, why does everyone say to have a good trip. I told him that the party was in staten island and we live in brooklyn, so they meant have a good trip home, as in driving home after the party. I think he bought that and started to tell everyone at the party to " have a good trip home too". I can't wait to tell him, its killing me.

So i spoke to one of the guys from the fire house, we have been re populatied. Meaning we got 3 brand spanking new rookies from the class that graduatied from the FDNY academy on wednesday. Guess who gets to train 2 out of the 3? I also found out i am the new XO at the fire house. This is the most senior guy. Jimmy was above me by a year and a half, but he lives on the other side of brooklyn and got tired of a busy station and long drive. My station is the most busiest in brooklyn, meaning we do the most amount of runs as well as legit jobs/calls. So he put in his transfer for a another station that is a little more quiet and much closer to his house. So hes gone as of oct 1st.

With just 9 years on i am the most senior guy at my fire house, scary, very scary.The xo does not do or mean much, other than i get any days off i ask above everyone else. I get first pick at any and all overtime or refusal of overtime. Also i get to pick my vacation and it can't be turned down. The only way they turn down vacation time is if another guy with more time on the job wants the same week off. Since i am that guy with the most time, i get what i want when it comes to vacation picks. Other than that, no salary increase or any other/ new job roles. Al right i gotta hit the bed before i pass out. Goodnight all!!!

Hi everyone!
I am back and sooo tired. It is almost hard to believe I was even at Disney! Seems like a dream in a way.
It was SO much fun though. I thought the weather was not that bad. There were moments I was cursing the sun, but they were few and far between. I also didn't mind the rain too much. Except on MNSSHP. But we made the most of it and were able to get comp tickets for the following Friday for the party which was awesome!!! Booked bounce back for the 17th - 27th. I might change them around but at least I have my spot secured. Lori book the same dates as well.
Hanging out with Timmy, Cat, Colleen and of course Lori was so fun! What a great group of chickies! I briefly met Chris. She is so spunky! Fully of energy! Her room was not close to ours but we met the night she came in and then saw her as they were going to Epcot.
I am in the middle of unpacking. And i have to go to the grocery store. I have NOTHING in the house. It's a sad sad state of affairs.
I will work on a trip report later. I need to get my house in order first. Hope you all have a great day!

SO, I leave tomorrow. Well, my flight is Wednesday, but we are driving down to Philly tomorrow. Debating on whether I should tell our neighbor we'll be gone for two weeks. Stopped the mail and paper, and DH will mow tomorrow. I have a plant I don't want to die though. Wondering if I can find someone with a green thumb to keep it. So, still need to PACK, and go to three different stores!

So anyways, i'm having an ultra sound today and i'm pretty excited to see the little guy, but i'm thinking I would rather meet him instead of looking at him on a screen! This HOT weather is just blahh! I loooved when it got cooler and then this again! BLAHH! so of course my kids caught a cold from that insanity which passed on to Sal...Roman so far is keeping me healthy, let's just hope it stays that way!!

Glad you are staying healthy Michelle! I had a cold when I delivered DD. It was awful.

I'm eating a smore cupcake. Well, I think it tastes like a smore. Its frosted with chocolate, and then marshmellow!

Went to my gazillion stores today, so now its time to start packing! I'm thinking I'll use the pink luggage?

Oh well, I guess I can go on the balcony and see what I can do!

Dr. went well yesterday, just gotta go back tomorrow I had to get hooked up to the non stress test machine to check babys movement, but of course I had to be there for 45 minutes!!!! YIKES!! The kids were great, it was actually Sal that was gcounting down the minutes! haahha!!! They had a cute little table full of books, crayons and snacks in the room and they sat so nice the whole time At the end of it all the Nurse gave Sal a sucker hahahha!!!

Blood pressure is a bit lower than before, so that's a good sign! only 2 more appts. until baby day!!!
