The tower is soo cool looking!

And they had a great photo op... but it is long... and Mando slowed me down... soo skipping.


Chef Donald Duck had a short line so I stop.



Mile 6


The running to Blizzard Beach sucks... it is soo crowded. It is hard to get any space. Bah... for the first time I like running through Blizzard Beach cause at least it was spread out.

Mile 7


I notice a walking path over on the side of the road and run on that instead of the road that is jammed packed. Me and a few others are doing it. Man running this path to and from the Blizzard Beach sucks.

I stop at Lilo. The line is mid level so worth it.


Ohh and I see the balloons ladies heading to Blizzard Beach.

Next I saw Duffy... and he was just soo cute I had to stop.

The line was a little long for Nick and Hop... they have the new outfits from the movie soo had to stop!!

So I got Hops

Then queen of hearts. I am getting to hot... bah the humidity and sun... so I pass on the queen of hearts.

Sebastian is out but I got a pic with him in marathon this year so skip him.


Next while running I hear a voice I listen to all the time. Bob from Rise and run podcasts. We talk a bit and I get a selfie with him. He is soo nice.

Next Mushu... I already got a pic with him this race so I skip him.

Heading into Epcot and we have some people cheering. My fav sign a Hamilton sign was out so I take a pic with them.

Then fibus and ferb... I never watched them so skipped them.

Then stitch aliens!! Angel and... dont know the yellow name. Had to meet. So waited in the line.

Mile 12... almost there!

Scrooge... I past him.. I got him before.

Japan's drummers! I loove them!

Lol... I held out my skirt weird... lol.

I managed a jump though!! I saw a gap so took a chance.

Bolt next and short line so I hopped in.


Past the Gospel singers! Now almost to then end!
Mile 13!!!!

Ohh my gosh if you are a runner and a Disney person you soo do it!! The best races for people like us. The key is to know the registration dates. You have to be logged in ahead of time and have multiple links to get into them. They sell out really quickly.

Now the long walk gathering all the things. Water, Gatorade, a cooling towel (which wss really nice!), snack box, bananas and of course medals. I get two medals this time since I completed the challenge.

Then I walk over to the ridiculous long line for finish medal pictures. I really do hate this... so much faster for me than the other way. While I wait in call my family and chat about the race.
Then finish pics time.


Then I go walk over to the AKL busses. And a cool suprised happened .. we got the disney cruise busses!! Love it!


We load the bus not a long wait.
We get dropped off at our hotel and walk in... again always so funny walking past regular guest trying to guess what we are doing. Lots of congratulations from cms.

I get to my room and mom gives me big hug and congrats.

We do another quick pic with all my medals and my running outfit.

While showering my mom pics up our mobile order from mara akl's quick service.
I get a bacon hamburger.

I always seem to get hamburgers after half's and marathons... they just hit the spot. A good mix of protein and carbs. Yummy.
And for dessert we are sharing zebra domes!!

What better way to celebrate at akl than zebra domes. Man are they good.
Next we just relax... I may have done a quick power nap... like half an hour to and hour.
Then time to change into my park outfit and head to MK. We have reservations there and photo op. My outfit is holloween inspired... a vintage outfit from nightmare before Xmas.
It was raining 🌧 to whole we relaxed.
We catch the bus over to MK. Not crowded at all yet.

I love the fall decor.
I see a photographer with a short line soo medal pics time! My mom goes and gets a scooter.

This is the first time I have ever been in wdw during holloween seasons... so I love seeing new decorations.

So we get inside and there is some long lines for photographers. I get in one line and wait a while and the photographer left with no one to replace her

So then we move up and there is an area in the grass set up with photographers that is for runners. So I get in line.... it starts sprinkling... eep. I get out my umbrella and the cm warns us if it gets any harder we have to pack up


While waiting the parade comes by. Soo at least while we wait have can watch the parade..

But then it started raining harder soo photographers closed up shop and we took refuge on the covered porch of crystal palace.

The rain has stopped but now need to head our reservation at beak and barrel.
On the way there I saw a photographer with no lines... so medal time.





Then next Beak and Barrel reservation. I told them my mom is in a scooter and needs a real seat. We check in and wait. There was a little confusion we got our table... they did not have my mom was needing a real chair... soo we waited a bit more for a real chair and then got in.


Love our little table, it was in our room with the fireplace but we where at the opening so we could see the bar and all the cool action.
One of the cool things was seeing the ship battle on the fireplace and then one sank!!

We order all of our drinks and food right when our waitress comes to us. With the 45 min time limit we have heard this is good a strategy to not feel rushed.
The first drink that comes out was the non alcoholic one. I heard good things about this drink and it comes with yummy dessert. Treasure Trove, $13.75 and it has ube, lemon, and coconut concoction served with a vanilla cake plank, chocolate cannonball, and golden caramel popcorn. I love ube... too many times going to Aulani I guess... this drinks was really good! And the dessert were solid too.


Then our schooling drinks came out. First
Siren’s Whisper, $20 with Pot & Column Still White Rum Blend, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, Combier Crème de Pêche de Vigne Liqueur, Lime, and Cinnamon. It was yummy but sadly they did not do the whole mermaids tears with it they said they ran out... not sure how u can run out of it... it is just a couple of drops of probably water... so that sucks we missed some of the fun theming with it.

This pic has two drinks with it.

First Salty Seas mARRRgarita at 20.
This drink features Southeast Asian flavors, such as ube which gives it the striking purple color, as well as Lalo Blanco Tequilla, Cointreau Liqueur, and lime. 
Again we love the ube drinks... soo no surprises we would not order it. And this drink was a great margarita. I will definitely order it again.

The next one Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale, 19. Rum-based drink topped with prosecco. The bubbly effervescence combined with hibiscus, demerara and citrus will make you feel like you’re charting the Atlantic. We loved this drink too. Very yummy and very drinkable.

We did not get the 50 dollar drink with the cool skull... just could not justify it... even if u kept the glass. I can get those on Amazon for much less.

Ohh and I forgot to take a pic of the food! Bah... lol... I was soo busy watching all the cool shows going around. It is really a hole exp. But we got the chips and dip which was really yummy and hut the spot. I love chips and dip. Lol.

We got to see a few different shows in here... I love how interactive everything is in here. Such a fun place.

And by ordering everything at once we did not feel as rushed. Soo definitely do that... we saw people who order first round of drinks and then order 2nd and they had to chug it since they did not have much time to drink it by the time they got their 2nd drinks.

Well time for us to leave... and go to my reserved photo session.

And of course it is raining... bah... not heavy, light but still... annoying.

We check in at the photo spot in liberty area. It is inside so that is nice and dry. And they said with the light rain they can still do pics but they might need to get creative with it to keep cameras dry. They also asked what kind of pics I want and I asked for fall decor with castle pics if they could and they made a cute sign for us runners.

So we head over to do some castle pics... and the photographer went under a cover to keep the camera dry. It is intersting doing these photos in the rain 🌧 verses sun like I have done before.





Then we move to Crystal place porch. Again to keep dry but also for fall and castle pics. Man my photographer was very creative picking these spots for dryness and fall and castle in one pic.

And we are done You get 20 min session with them. Such a great deal for $99 for getting a bunch a great medal pics. especially considering how rainy it was today... it was so hard getting pics in since they had to keep closing the lines for the rain..
Now we are heading out. The holloween party will be starting soon and we will be kicked out. I get some last pics of the castle and fall decor. It sucks with the rain but we made the best of it for sure.

We head back to our resort to relax. We had an early morning and we want to last for the wine and dine after party in epcot.
We decide to stop and get some drinks at Victorial Falls. I love this bar. And we are really making sure we experince the wine and dine part of this run Soo nice.
I get the cape wine flight collection.

I like that u can get south African wine here.


I forget what mom got but she loved it. Looks cute too.

There is also football going on the screens here. So if u want to watch some football it is a nice place to watch but not sound.
My mom is seeing she can watch her fav team Broncos too.

I ask for a dessert type drink again. I love seeing what bartenders make. Soo good!


We then head back to the room so we can watch the last part of the Broncos game with sound. If u guys follow Broncos at all they only start playing good in the 4th quater now. I take a nap on the couch.

It is nice to have a great place to relax while it is raining and regain our energy.
