That's kind of what I was thinking. I just want to do 2 days. And the hotel is covered b/c of him. We just need to do the tickets, food, fun. He wants to fly to vegas and then drive onto LA. That is what he does. He loves it. I am like, cool! And I don't like the idea of a 5 hr flight anywho. Oh no...now I want to do it. Cat, you are catching!!!!!!!!!! Run!!!!!!!!!!!

If your DH is going there anyway. I'm going in a couple of weeks all by myself and can't wait. It was much more affordable than WDW believe it or not and at least I'm still getting my Disney fix. Plus, DL has some cool rides that WDW doesn't - like Indiana Jones, California Screamin and not to mention that Pirates of the Caribbean is like 8 mins longer in CA I'm also going to go to Universal for a day, because they offer FREE shuttle service from Anaheim!

YES!! the characters are everywhere! go for the 4 nighter. You are really not sure who will or won't get sick on the trip, so you don't want to be on too longl ike the 7 day, but the 3 nighter is waay waaay too short, you feel like you don't even want to unpack.

Back to the characters!! they are in the lobby ALL THE TIME! and if you go for Christmas like us...SANTA IS EVEN THERE!!!

we're dying here! we can't wait!!!

Hey everyone, I just thought I would tell ya, I told my husband that I wished that we were able to go to Chicago for 3/17/07, and he told me to go. I would never go by myself! He said why not? DUH! I could never leave the kids, nor do I have the guts to go someplace by myself. Oh well. Just know that I would have loved to meet up with you guys. Maybe we could all come out in the summer if you have a meet!

Morning everyone, a bit of good news! DHs aunt had obe of her tubes removed and her medication scaled back a bit, and it went well so let's hope it keeps getting better

I freaking LOVE DisneyLand - havent been there since Danny was 4 months old - but I LOVE IT!

I am so glad I decided to take Grace to the doctor...

she's got strep!

He was almost positive she just had a cold - decided to swab her on a whim, as her throat was a little red..

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

now she's going to miss another day of school tomorrow! So far this year that's 4 days for WDW, 3 for being sick, and 3 more in March for spring break! YIKES! My kids have never missed that many days. I'm not all that worried really, it just freaks me out a bit.

I checked mousesavers and uc tourist...and both only off multiday passes...I'm thinking we should just buy our tickets at the ttc once we get there. maybe ebay? do ya think?

Poor gracie! At least now you can give her antibiotic and she will be better in no time. I don't know yet if I will take Jul. I think it is still just a cold by her symptoms. No sore throat or vomiting. And she is actually eating pretty good. And she never eats when she is sick. We'll see. And her temp is better but still a cough and not moving around. Plus our Dr. is small town, so a strep has to be sent in to a lab. No immediate results.

Whenever Jul is really sick and has to see the dr. I always feel bad and get her something. I wish TDS was in town.

I was looking at the 3 day b/c I am scared I will get seasick. I take dramamine at WDW for the rides, and in the car. Jul does too.

All food and activities ON BOARD are covered. You will have to pay for: excursions & liquor. EVERYTHING adds up fast. On our honeymoon we had a 200$ shipboard credit and we didn't drink more than 4 drinks a piece the entire trip and our total was over 1000 still IT adds up excursion wise. We went on a private beach, we went snorkling, on a catameran ride, then there are the souvies..it adds up

The wine tasting and the beer tastings are also extra.

I agree here, UNLESS they are willing to e-mail you the numbers on the back and you can call ticket services and find out how many days are left. BUT they won't always do it, b/c it's technically ilegal to buy them from someone, sooo they will tell you to just bring them to the ticket window once you arrive BUT sometimes they will do it my friend used to work in ticket services

It would work. But just be prepared for him to probably actually get strep like the next week. That's how it would work for me.

I was nervous about going in Nov. last year b/c of the school. But then I just thought "scr*w it". It's school. I shouldn't be SCARED to take my kid somewhere.
