I am worried that I will do a basket for Jul until college!! Anyway, I do a decent basket also. Probably since I only have one child, so I try to make everything good.

When she was born, I grabbed her and said "come here munchkin". I don't know why. I didn't have ANY drugs, so I was just so relieved to be done. Not what I pictured saying first thing. So everytime anyone says 'munchkin', I think of that. I love it.

Munchkin is what I always use to call kids.... always!

I have to go to the fire house,which stinks btw!!! I had the last 5 days off and i have the next 3 off. I was supposed to be off today,but one of the guys did me a favor and switched tours with me,so i could have off friday.I have to go in tonight and cover his tour.Have a great day all!!!!

Yea I know - I was just thinking outloud...never heard any scary stories though...yours sounds awful!

I wish there was a way to get a break on a one day ticket somewhere! I'm not positive if we're going in Sept, December or Jan ...so I don't know what to do!!

Undercover sources are telling us that the easter bunnie was check into rehab for the fifth time in 2 years.We all remember Last christmas when the easter bunnie fell ill and was believed to have the flu witch turned out to be crack and coccaine addiction.His personall lawyer explained that his on going dispute with santa claus and the tooth fairy just drove him over the edge.Sources are unclear just what that dispute was over,but many in the busniess cite that the easter bunnie felt underloved and was taken out of the spot light due to the over powering love of santa from children. Time and time again photos turned up with the easter bunny passed out in the streets of nyc with the smell of vodka and carrot juice on his breath and even one picture showed the easter bunnie had well,wet himself. This past week had been the worst for the loved easter giant,where he was pictured getting a tatto and having not one but both ears pierced. His last draw when when he entered a hair saloon in manhattan and asked to have his whole body shaved,only to be told " we don't do animal cuts here,go to the animal groomer if you want that" depressed and near the edge he picked up a head shaver and went bald, in front of dozens of Photographers. Some say it was a copy cat antic,taken from britney spears latest carear ender,but other's say the easter bunny needed to be in the spot light and if it worked for britney why not the bunny? So today his laywer held a officl press conference and said that at midnight last night the easter bunny was wisked away to a secert rehab location for help. Soruces say the easter bunny is at the all too famous betty ford bunny clinic, where many famous have visited. Sources tell us that even santa had a small visit there when he was found begging for change for christmas cookies and the tooth fairy even had a visit there when it was discovered that pixie dust "really made you fly when snorted". Other famous actors who visited this clinic include, roger rabbit,buzz lightyear and even rumored to once host minnie mouse.Are prayeers and best wishes are with the easter bunny and his family in this time of need!!

How long does Strep last? Im considering using "Strep" as Danny's "call in reason" in September....

It depends how long it takes to for you to take him to the doctors. It whipped my butt when I had it from Wed to Sat until I finally convinced the doctors to see me. They were telling me to wait until Tuesday!!! Anyway, I felt better in 24 hours after starting antibiotics. I'd try mono. That's a lot worse and needs more rest. But I don't want to have any part in your evil scheme!

I considered MONO - but I figured I only need Thursday, Friday and Monday off.... certainly not MONO worthy.

Doesnt it STINK that we have to go through this for vacations. I should be able to just TELL them, not get "approval" for it.

I'm angry right now. I had all this stuff to do while DD was napping, and as soon as I put her down my doorbell rings 8 times. I rush to the door thinking there's some lady giving birth on my doorstep, but its this family I know from the daycare. They left about 7 months ago. They saw my car and stopped by to say hi. I'm fine with that. But then the kids start tearing out all the toys, and the baby threw up on the carpet 3 times!!! Hello, trying to sell the house, here. They were here for like an hour, and I felt like I was working the whole time. I've officially become anti-social.

DD is back on a nebulizer, too. She's got the cold that never ends. She started wheezing and had a little grunting with her breathing. Did you know that cold medicine actually makes it worse? I asked if we should give her cold medicine too and the dr. told me not to. So its just albuteral.

There's a mom at the daycare who doesn't care. She tells the teachers what to do at school. She's in band, but she wants her kid to go to study hall if she has homework. The teachers told her she'd fail if she did that and the mom didn't care because it wasn't a real class. She's like "I'm the mom, what I say, goes." I keep thinking, "No, not really, not with public school," but so far its worked for her.

Well... if you are considering strep.... Thursday is a slight fever sore throaty type of day.... Friday is... cant speak.. cant eat with fever day... Mother: Well I gave son tylenol for fever hoping it comes down and maybe the throaty achey thing will go away with tylenol also... Saturday full blown cant speak white stuff on throat.... called dr no available for appointment but talk over the phone and suggested antibiotic and rest... Sunday... getting better but still needed rest.. Monday... still a bit weak.... and Voila Monday Nite !!! Feeling mucn better have energy to play Wii and ready for school Tuesday !!!
