Has anyone here done a Disney Cruise before? i'm sooo excited to go this year! we haven't been since our honeymoon! we've been waiting for the kids to get old enough!!!

I would like to, but I don't want to sacrifice any "land" time. 3 or 4 days is not enough for us for "land".

My really fun shopping time is Oakbrook. I like to browse Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Hanna, Coach, PBK.

I like Bergner's and Macy's. I love Ralph Lauren. I have been getting some good jeans at Kohl's. I want to look at Target this weekend. I actually made a little list. I want to get another pair of jean's and another pair of cute slacks for subbing.

that's why we can't do land/sea combos AND it's way more expensive than booking everything seperatly! we loove land time and like the touch of DCL it works out nice that way!!

Ive been on 4 of them - they were as nice as the Greek Isle cruises Ive been on.

Ummm - clothes. I shop anywhere, and dont care about labels. There's only one "specific" thing I buy - Levi's 518's - super-low boot cut, which Ill get at Kohls or JCPenny's when I need them.

Other than THAT - couldnt care less. Nordstroms, Penney's, Wal Mart, or even the Thirft Store! - I look for cute stuff, and preferably on clearance.

hahah! you had me going!! the DCL is amazing!! i was on the inaugural cruise with my family and we were hooked form then on! it just gets better each time we go! it's GREAT since it's not crowded and they are all abotu YOU! i can't say enough about it! DH is sooo excited

My plan for this trip is to pile up enough on my disney gift card to cover the dining plan. Then we can just add it onto our vacay when we get there.

Aer you staying DVC? other than that i thought the dining plan had to be booked in advance? not sure though.


yes, i always book everythign seperately except for last year when i had to buy a package to get free dining.

I get a room only ressie and then we get our tix at the Disney Store, then i book the cruise seperatly too. To do land/Sea it comes out to be ALOT more than buying each piece alone.

I booked the 4 night cruise.

We arrive at WDW on the 21st and are staying at POP for a couple nights, then off to POPT

Ship departs on 12/23-12/27

We leave PORT on the 27th and back to WDW for
12/27-1/8 and we have the dining plan for these days

I get the Arizona jeans from JcPenney. I can only wear low rise (not ultra low). I hate all the other jeans that come up to the belly button. They come in short, average, and tall. Even though I'm short (5'1) I buy the average length because in my opinion they have more room in the "hipular" region. They are also boot cut...which help give the appearance of me being tall (er.).

OOOH, maybe you do need to book the dining plan in advance. I am not sure. So then what can I use the gift card for?

Do you ever get motion sickness? I do. I take a dramamine every morning at disneyworld and give one to DD too. Since she was a toddler, she would vomit if we drove more than 40 minutes from our house. So I am scared that I would be sick the whole time at sea. And it is not like you can just leave.

And THAT is what Im scared of. I dont get motion sickness THAT easily. But one time, I was like 15-ish, we went to DisneyLAND and my mom also booked a boat to Catalina Island for the day. I vomited like the exorcist.

Now granted - I heard its not like little cruiser boats - but like you, $5000+ to be puking for 4 days? No thanks.

And what Im wearing tonight? I decided to.......







.....go shopping! Why struggle with the decision. I figure I can get a cocktail dress cheap, now - after the holidays.

For a cruise, I could live on Dramamine (or even get something prescription for an emergency), but is it safe to live on Dramamine for that long? And would it be strong enough? I really want to do a cruise, but I don't know.
