CathrynRose--5% is great! At DH's work 4% is good, and 3.4% is average. So you must be supergood!

MrFDNY--Yeah, that is shocking. I'm having that same situation with an employee's husband. He has a heart blockage that is inoperable and he could die at anytime from it...he's in his 40s, plus they just discovered cancer a few weeks ago, and finally, he got an infection in his leg and now they may have to amputate! Does this sound real? I can't believe it, but it is. I feel like the family should be on Xtreme makeover or something (both kids were born extremely premature at about 1 pound each, plus the husband recently lost his job).

Oh it smells so super delicious. Really, really nice! But I can never get samples! Im telling you, it's like pulling teeth!!! Theyre so freaking stingy. Then I come across auction after auction after auction on eBay selling.... samples!!! I wonder if the sales people are selling them on the side, hence STINGY!!!

Ohhhh, I wanna try it! All of those scents are PERFECT for me. I am not a realy flowery chick so that sounds YUMMY!!!
I am shocked they were so greedy with the samples. Usually I get more than I need! It is always good to go when they are launching a new scent, because they wanna give you everything under the sun. I bought a Michael Kors perfume once and I got like 5 samples of just his other scents alone. Then the girl threw in a few other designers as well. When you pay upwards of $75 a bottle, I almost expect their little freebies. I think that is BAD marketing on their part. People like getting stuff for free. Or "bonuses" Load em up with little goodies and they will more than likely give you repeat business. I don't get stores now a days.

Hi all,
I am in a state of shock. A great friend of the family and someone we known since i was about 2, well 2 nights ago they sat down to dinner and the husband complained of heartburn.He collapsed in the house and was rushed to a emergency room,where he was pronunced deceased. I Feel so bad for her,they have a son 18. I've known the whole family for more than 25 years ,they were so nice.I have to go to the wake in about a hour and i'm lost for words,what the heck do you say to somone who just lost thier husband?? It really makes you think about how quick life is. I feel so bad for her and her son, a few friends told me that they are not taking it so good,but who would? He was young only 49 and this had to happen 3 weeks before the holidays

Oh PJ, I am really really sorry. What a horrible thing! There is nothing you can say that will make them feel better. Just a hug and let them know you are thinking about them and to call if they need anything. I hope you will be ok. I am truely sorry for your loss.

Ive never seen it - Ive heard it's really good. Maybe Ill pick it up to watch this weekend. Christmas shopping and my upcoming Disney thing has me like SERIOUSLY empty pocketed. One of the reasons I wanted a SAMPLE of Juicy Couture - not spend a pretty penny on a bottle....

You know what else Ive heard serioously great things about? Borat! My son has seen it THREE times, think's its the funniest movie he's seen in years.

And on a side note - did you know Borat is the same guy from Talladega nights? And he is yummy!

Hows everyone doing??? So tonight i go in for a simple,hopefully slow 8 hour tour and then i'm off untill monday!!!

Ok i got a question for you guys, i also have next thursday,friday,saturday,sunday and half of monday off. I was thinking about getting away or going somewhere with the family,but can't really come up with a place to visit,well besides disney. I live in brooklyn,nyc and wanted to go somewhere where i could drive too. Any ideas in my area??? I was thinking about vermont or upstate but really can't find any places to stay,well one place in stowe, vermont but the only room they have for next weekend is a grand master suite that runs over $600(yes, six hundred) per night. So anyone got any ideas somewhere local or driving distance???
