Ive never seen it - Ive heard it's really good. Maybe Ill pick it up to watch this weekend. Christmas shopping and my upcoming Disney thing has me like SERIOUSLY empty pocketed. One of the reasons I wanted a SAMPLE of Juicy Couture - not spend a pretty penny on a bottle....

You know what else Ive heard serioously great things about? Borat! My son has seen it THREE times, think's its the funniest movie he's seen in years.

And on a side note - did you know Borat is the same guy from Talladega nights? And he is yummy!

I have heard good things about that movie as well. I would totally rent Wedding Crashers. SO funny. Vince Vaughn is super funny. And I love how fast his humor is. I would repeat my favorite lines but this is a family board after all.
I have not seen Talladega Nights either. Is that the racing one? I am not a racing fan at all so I avoided it.

Hi all,
Hows everyone doing??? So tonight i go in for a simple,hopefully slow 8 hour tour and then i'm off untill monday!!!

Ok i got a question for you guys, i also have next thursday,friday,saturday,sunday and half of monday off. I was thinking about getting away or going somewhere with the family,but can't really come up with a place to visit,well besides disney. I live in brooklyn,nyc and wanted to go somewhere where i could drive too. Any ideas in my area??? I was thinking about vermont or upstate but really can't find any places to stay,well one place in stowe, vermont but the only room they have for next weekend is a grand master suite that runs over $600(yes, six hundred) per night. So anyone got any ideas somewhere local or driving distance???

Oh man. I wish I had the opportunity to live where you do and go see all those cool sights. I have never been to the east coast (well Georgia and SC and FL but I consider that the south) so I can't help you there. Whatever you decide have FUN! When all else fails, just go to Disney!

Glad the fam is getting better. Being sick is no fun at all.
I really have to go get my wine, but I am putting it off. That's me, wait until the last minute gal. It'll be there before New YEAR's for sure. Sparkling wine sounds yummy! I like anything that is bubbly.

I think Ryan has hormonal issues. Are boys always this bad? One day he is best kid in the world and then other days I just wanna ring his neck. I love him dearly but I am REALLY nervous about his pre teen and teenage years. Promises to be interesting that's for sure.

Be grateful he's not a girl. My g/f's daughter is a hundred times worse with her mood swings. But that being said....


YES!!! THEYRE HORRIBLE! One minute theyre laughing, the next minute, theyre pissy. Theyre loads of fun!!! It's a mystery every day which child you will get! Fun son, evil son, PIA son, silly son, dont-care son, attitude son, mom-is-satan son, I love life son, Im better, smarter, cooler and stronger than everyone in this family son, I cant wait until Im 18 cuz Im outta here son, I love you guys son! Think of it as a 'grab bag' of emotions!

My 15 y/o sounds like your son - started early with his moods. And Im happy to report, he is STILL going strong. YAY! I love not knowing WHAT to expect or WHEN for that matter.... good times, good times. Its tapering off, but it's been a joy. Just a poor joy.

The 11 y/o isnt as bad. BUT he is a "Mama's Boy" and I can still guilt him into submission....so far.

I was a horrible preteen and teenager,i had mood swings large verbal fights with both my parents, at 16 it was the worst in one day alone i put my fist thru my dads living room wall and later a taxi cab window.When i hit 18 it seemed to calm down alot. Good luck!!

I'm going shopping today,I am one of the few "men" that loves going shopping!! We are going to the staten island mall,but mostly i am excited because i get to pick out most of ds( 6 ) x-mas gifts.I know it sounds weird,but in the past i was always stuck working and never got to go shopping with dw for him.Plus, i guess it has alot to do with the fact that we are going to the disney store in the mall too

I just heard about the six flags resort at Lake George. It has an indoor water park. May be worth looking into? I wanted to go over Thanksgiving, but did not get there... too much shopping to do!

Hi all,
I survived(shopping that is) I cannot believe how some people are.What the heck has happened to this world??? I watched 2 women get into a huge fight because one thought the other was skipping the line,btw she was just asking for help to get an item that was too hight to reach on a shelf. I watched as thier husbands got into it as well. I listened to person after person complained about lines,and the slow employees and how that item is so overpriced and etc. I watch several parents "melt downs" on thier children and listened to couple after couple argue in stores. Myself and dw were amazed, I was thrilled to be able to go shopping for ds,there were so many years i was stuck working that i could not go and pick out some gifts for him. I remeber was i was a rookie at the fire house and had to work every holiday I used to become so depressed,I remember ds crying on x-mas eve when i had to go into work and work until late x-mas day night. He would beg me to stay home and i used to leave the house feeling like anyway we got some nice stuff for him.Stopped in at the disney store in staten island,btw i was all excited to go they had been shut for a little to "redo" the store.While it was very nice, they moved a little in the mall and the new store is well very small.Got the little mermaid and cars on dvd.I had a lot of fun tonight and dw even got all done up at the malls beauty salon.Its amazing how the little things make me smile.So thats it,got to get up early helping a friend tomorrow thats moving out of nyc and going your way ants to allentown pa.Have a great weekend everyone.
