Well, I'm sorry everyone had some ickyness today! Just think, though, this time next week we'll all be in the Happiest Place on Earth!

We'll probably just be finishing our dinner at Ragland Road, and be headed either back to POP to sleep, or to Adventurer's Club for a few drinks. Depends how tired we are...DH has to work all night before we leave, and he doesn't usually sleep on planes, so I dunno how much beyond dinner we'll be awake!

I was bad today. I told myself I would get up and work on my two presentations, but I didn't. I caught up on all the stuff on our DVR (2 Kyle XY episodes, and 5 Eureka episodes) and then went and took a nap with DH who was still asleep from working last night. He got up and went to work, and I ran out to Belk to see if they had any new Crocs in stock...they didn't but they were having big clearance...I got an Izod shirt for $5 (regular $40)! It's purple, so although I don't have any purple bras, at least I have a purple shirt!

Then I went to Wally World, and bought some more travel-sized stuff we needed. I also bought some big blank note cards, some of the clickable sharpies, and a little clipboard to hold the notecards so I can collect some character autographs to go with all my character pictures...I figure I can scrapbook the autographs and the pictures together, which will be nice.

Well, I guess I'll head out for now. I think I'll read for a while and then go to bed. Tomorrow...I WILL work on those dratted presentations! I will not procrastinate! I will finish so I can stop stressing and start having fun planning my vacation!

Hiya i'm home! sorry we've been gone all day! we got a call this morning from my grandfather (76) and he had LOTS of flooding in his house yesterday so we went over to help clean up!! good thing it was just his basement, but EVERYTHING had to be thrown away! all the furniture and everything that was down there and in the garage!!! he had literally JUST got a new car a few days ago and it was about 2 inches from getting inside the door!!! so i'm glad that was sqafe and best of all he is doing well.

We have requested 70s section building 10 first floor!! This is our FAVE location!!!!
unfortunately many of these rooms have gone preferred , so it's all up in the air where we
will be!!

HOW fabulous is this list?? we have over 100 DISsers going!!! imagine how many
will be there when you include everyone's families??? AWESOME!

We will have a message board on our door and our Alien Green in our
windows, so drop us a line!! Oh and we will have our window decorated for Halloween!!

YES i am so glad he is okay! last night my aunt and uncle were there and today they came back and we were there and my dad was there and my aunt and her DD from michigan came in to help take everyting out and clean what was left. my uncle said last night as they were dumping the water out of the basement, the neighbors were just sitting in lawnchairs watching them!!! you would think they would have at least just come over to see if he was okay (they are friends with my grandfather and know he lives alone AND just had surgery on his eyes!!) oh well all is well now and my kiddos past out on the way home!!

Okay, I'm so stressed...First of all, I got a rejection letter in the mail today from that job interview on Tuesday. So I wasn't gonna take it anyway, but not even offered it? I feel so *rejected.*

Second, DH had to work today, so I'm just now getting started on my long list of stuff to do. I was trying to be supportive, but snapped at him on his way home. Third, (divert your eyes MrFDNY) AF is coming soon, so she'll be there the whole time at Disney.

Fourth, DISNEY DINING MADE ME CRY! So I call to change Spoodles ADR on the 28th to San Angel Inn at 6:15. There were so many openings. The people complaining are crazy. Anyway, I asked a question about my ressies being for 3 and if my mom takes DD it'll just be 2 of us, will that be a big deal? And she said she'd refer me to Dining Help or something, whose her superior. Then, she's like I see you have a double booking now for both Ohana on the 3rd and the Spoodles/San Angel thing. I had already told her I was going to cancel either Spoodles or San Angel once I talked to DH, but couldn't because he was at work. I'm double booked for Ohana, because one of the ressies includes my mother. She is still refusing to eat with us because she doesn't want to be intrusive on our vacation. So the ADR person is trying to get me to cancel one. I said I'd talk to my mom again. I'm thinking (you better not make me cancel one now, I had to call every day for two weeks for each of them!). So she refers me to the Dining Help or whatever and the lady starts out "So, we are talking today because you have this double booking for Ohana." And I say "No, we are talking today because I have a question about my daughter (you meanie)." Taking aback, she says "Oh." So I continue with the DD thing. She says it won't be a problem and starts to lecture me again about the double booking. I said, "yes, I understand, but I can't talk to my mom while I"m on the phone with you (meanie)." Anyway, she's lecturing me about how wrong it is, and I'm thinking I"M NOT PAYING 10 cents a minute for you to yell at me! Okay, I get off the phone and I"m so angry I start crying and call DH (get him this time) and tell him "Disney made me cry I don't want to go." I think I'll still go to Disney, but I"M WRITING A LETTER.

I am so sorry that they made you cry... charge it to "bad day" and try to get excited again

I have no idea. It is not something I can personally understand. For me, I first of all want to know the parents of the friend whose house Ryan is going to stay at. Secondly I would get names, numbers, addresses, etc BEFORE I just dropped him off. Thirdly, if I were working or whatever when he went to the friend's house, I would call immediately after to make sure he was ok. I mean good grief. It is very weird. And almost sad. I don't get it.
