where is this 2 hour wait? I live in Chicago and a week ago today, I waited only 10 minutes.
I think it was more the internet memes than the sandwich. Is it something so special I would wait two hours for? Absolutely not.I keep on hearing about long waits and a reputation for being better than its competitors. Seems like a lot of hype, but the price seems good. Anyone here tried it yet?
Georgia—the home of CFA. People here will try Popeye’s but there are probably 20 CFA restaurants for every 1 Popeye’s here.where is this 2 hour wait? I live in Chicago and a week ago today, I waited only 10 minutes.
Our Popeye's around here are always ridiculously slow. The 2 times I've been it took 30 minutes to get 2 chicken strip meals and no one was surprised when I told them. They did a taste test on the radio this morning and there were 2 votes for Chik-fil-a and 2 votes for Popeye's. Seems like it's just another decent option if you like fast food chicken sandwiches...
It’s that good here. I’ve heard ppl say that our Popeyes here are better than other locations. So, I can’t say what it’s like other places. Before the official hype, ppl here had been talking about it. I had heard it rolled out here first (not if that’s true). But, it is that good!I keep on hearing about long waits and a reputation for being better than its competitors. Seems like a lot of hype, but the price seems good. Anyone here tried it yet?
Lol. Here it’s probably reversed.Georgia—the home of CFA. People here will try Popeye’s but there are probably 20 CFA restaurants for every 1 Popeye’s here.
Side note-I always hear about the wonderful customer service at CFA, but the 2 here that we frequent are just as much of a cluster as any other fast food place but usually has a longer wait than other places. The only difference I see is they say “my pleasure” after providing the same mediocre service as everyone else.Dd and a friend tried to get one Sunday. The drive through line was out to the highway. Parking lot slap full.
We waited on a parrking place and headed in only to see the 'sold out of chicken sandwiches ' sign on the door. We turned around and headed home.
The KFC a quarter down the road--empty.
We will try it, if we can get one.
Edit- I couldn't help wonder what the drive through would have been like had they run like Chic fil a.
