Hi gang,

On one of the fire dept boards i go too, a fireman from cali has posted and confirmed that universal studios in C.A. is on fire and at a 5th alarm, which means its a big uncontrolable fire. From what he is posting and what the news is reporting, several buildings are one fire, as well as one has collapsed and the king kong ride building is also on fire.

Nope, its not a joke, i wish it was. From what i've read between my fire dept board and other disney sites as well as the news, about 2-3 blocks of the back lot have been completely destroyed by fire. King kong, is a complete loss, the back to the future area is damaged, New york streets are gone, theres more but thats all i remember.Its really sad.

I heard the Back to the Future clock is gone, the King Kong building.... I heard a lot of stuff.

Thats a shame. I always loved UNI California. I like the whole tram aspect of the whole thing. You get on....and it goes through everything.

We made the mistake on the first visit to Florida UNI....got on the tram, and it was lame-o-rama. Didnt realize we had to walk to everything.

Cat - I *LOVE* the idea of a flat Charlie at Disney and I would expect a full trip report too !! You would have quite the stalking .....uh I mean following for that trip report !

My emotions are running amuck this week....my baby graduates from jr high on Friday night and then immediately leaves for pom pom camp at NIU for 5 days.....how the heck did 9 years of school fly by???????? Serious margarita time this weekend.....the next thing I know she'll be asking to drive my CAR!

They do grow up too fast, don't they? Mine will be 8 in oct and it seems like just yesterday he was born. You'll get thru it. It won't be easy, but you'll get thru it.

Thanks goodness for Grace! She's still a kid! - although even she will be a 3rd grader in the fall....You know I used to think people that said it "seemed like yesterday" that their kid did "xyz" were weirdos...but wowsers, I can so remember so much from the past 14 years! like it WAS yesterday! Lots of stuff going on the rest of the week - Honors night at school, band breakfast, graduation practice, & other stuff....it's been a busy week

Austin is starting middle school next year and I can hardly believe it !! I asked him if he is going to be one of those kids that will outgrow Disney and he looked at me like I was crazy.

When I told him there were teenagers who thought Disney was uncool and didn't want to vacation there he said they were "phycho" ( his word) and that would never be him !!

Chris, I don't know what I will think when my kids get as big as yours! I may just want to shrink them back! I already think time flies too quick as it is!! Can you all believe Roman is crawling and STANDING?! I don't know what happened to my little baby!!

Gabriel is nothing but TROUBLE! whenever I look away for a SECOND he is climbing something! hahaha!

Autumn is getting so smart, she's learning how to spell her name and I'm just floored, but her sponge like brain!!

OMG! That Universal fire is too sad I can't believe it!

I leave for Mexico in a month and my passport has still not gotten here!! arggg....everyone else has theirs!!
