Popcorn buckets

Are the ships back to allowing you to refill popcorn buckets post covid? Got one from wdw last week and thinking if packing to use in September on cruise and wdw trip.

We bought a refillable bucket onboard and they re-filled it the whole cruise. They had a Cinderella carriage one and a regular printed round style.

We brought our Lion King popcorn bucket from a 2019 cruise and refilled it several times on our recent cruise on the Wonder.

I want to say that the popcorn opened back up when the mask mandate went away in the theatre.

Popcorn refills started again on April 1 or 2. We cruised in March and Preludes was not open during that sailing. We then boarded the Magic on April 2 and the Preludes crew said the show that night was their re-opening.

Hi I am going to WDW next week, and want to know is there any way to find out if there are specialty popcorn buckets available? I would love to get the R2D2 or the Millennium Falcon but will settle for the Mickey balloon one. Does anyone have any idea how to find out what's in stock and where? Thanks!!

Mickey balloons haven’t been in stock at magic kingdom. They have the skyliner bucket right now at Epcot and HS. The Star Wars ones are usually only at Hollywood studios but haven’t checked what they have in a while.

Two weeks back they had the droid one at HS definintely (the square mouse droid thing that I can't think of the name of). I didn't see the Falcon or an R2D2 one and ended up getting the 50th Anniversary one instead. There was also a baby simba one in Animal Kingdom

Bring your popcorn bucket to Epcot and try out the Maple popcorn at the Canadian pavilion. It's really good and the same price as any other popcorn refill.

Are they still letting you do refills with the maple? Back in January we were told refills didn’t work with “specialty popcorn” even though earlier in the day we were up sold to get another bucket to get refills (this was with one that they had been selling at DAK at the time)

We refilled our popcorn bucket with maple popcorn when were there in April. It was a nice treat following the Ten Miler.
