I looked on the Pop Warner cheer leading site and, maybe I read it incorrectly, but I believe they will be competing at WDW sometime in December, ending 12/8/07.
I am staying at the All Star Music 12/9 -12/14. This was a last minute trip due to obscenely cheap airfare so I shouldn't complain, BUT, do most of the cheerleaders leave right after the competitions? I was at a resort a couple years ago (last year?) and checked out early just after they arrived. The two nights I was stuck in the same resort I was stuck near a group of girls who kept getting in trouble for sneaking guys into their room and I had to embarass the hell out of a guy who wanted to urinate on the grass near our room. ( He may never pulled that thing out in view of a woman again!!) I also had to deal with neverending bile buildup as I had to overhear all the teens trying to be cool. (They were EVERYWHERE
) Some of them apparently went deaf with me because they didn't seem to know the competition was over and kept yelling and cheering(or they missed those few on the basket toss).
Needless to say I was happy they had chaperones who obviously were disturbed out of their sleep because boy did they get yelled at that second night!! I didn't hear a peep after that.
No, I don't think ALL cheerleaders are like this, but I'd rather not take my chances. Any idea if they're normally gone right after competition?
Oh, and if anyone knows the family of a girl named Bella who has a great set of lungs and stayed at the POR in April, let me know. Gotta avoid her too!!
