POP = Walmart?

We're staying at the Pop this summer and have 2 little kids, I love to shop at Target, sometimes Wal-Mart, and I will add in the 99 cents store too!

But I also enjoy some luxurious things in life, just can't afford them right now (2 little kids!). That being said, we are so looking forward to our stay at the Pop! I am expecting a clean room with a clean comfy bed to sleep in at night and possibly for an afternoon nap while the kids nap. That's it! And I am also expecting EMH some mornings which we are taking advantage of, enjoying the DDP which we have (saving us lots of $$ due to character meals we had planned to do anyway). I am NOT expecting the Ritz-Carlton, nor would I expect that type of atmosphere even at a deluze Disney resort! I am expecting just to be part of the magic 24 hours a day while we are there, seeing priceless looks on my kids' faces when they see the adorable huge icons at Pop Century, and having breakfast in the room (cereal) to save time going to the food court! Anyone can make it work efficiently. I will admit though, we will be driving there and so driving to the parks to avoid the bus lines. But that is something I would expect at any resort, unless it was on the monorail line!

Well feel free to wipe away your tears because our daughters sharing a name is where our similiarities end. I choose to not be offended by things written on an internet message board. You can choose otherwise. Thanks for the clue though. I'll stick it in my pocket and whip it out when I'm in Disney next week.

I loved the 60's pool area....there is a pool bar..I really enjoyed our stay here!

If you go to the DVC forums, do a thread search...there is a thread where you can get your home resort then paste in your signature....my DH did it for me!

Dear, Chimmie. I wish you would take the time to have someone read the very first original post to you. I did mean every word that I wrote. It describes my experience of POP. You can jump for joy that you will not see me there again. Wait, that might be better for me. De " nile" is just not a river in Egypt it is running all over this post. By the way, that was a joke. Well, maybe not.
