Pop vs CSR

I am planning an April trip and am trying to decide whether to stay at Pop or Coronado Springs. I haven't stayed at either. Coronado Springs standard room is about $100 more (for the total trip, not per night) than what I am paying for Pop in a preferred room. I chose Pop originally because of budget and Skyliner. But if the park hours continue to be shorter than normal and if park hopping doesn't return, Coronado may be a better choice so that there is something to do when we get back to the resort at the end of the day. But I dislike the multiple bus stops at CBR and know that CSR has a few stops as well. Plus the standard room may be far from food and the main pool area. What would you do?

I said CSR but is that $100 per night or total? Would that push your budget? Do you spend a lot of time outside your room or in your room? Lots of things to consider. I've stayed at all location except Ranchos at CSR and sometimes I'd walk to the 2nd to last bus stop, some times just my bus stop, sometimes get off at the first stop and walk back to my room. It all depended on my mood, I really don't find it that far away from the farthest rooms to the front, I tend to walk 2 or 3 times around the resort every morning. I always stay in standard rooms no matter where I stay (I'm cheap) and have had rooms in the Casitas more than once, which is just a hop, skip and jump from the main hub and not that far from the pool. Given a choice, I will always choose a moderate over a value, I like the fact that they have the leisure pools and they have a hot tub at the main pool.

It is $100 total for the trip. Thanks for clarifying, I edited the original post. We spend time in the room, but mostly just sleeping or napping/resting before going back out to the parks. Good to know that standard rooms don't seem as far from the main hub. How did the bus service seem when you were there? I

I'd do Pop standard and request 60's or 70's buildings. I'm also cheap.

We have only stayed at CS, so I guess I am biased
We stayed in Casitas section building 3, and absolutely loved the area and the short trip to the main center. I understand that Casita #3 is now a preferred area? not sure. Since they put the bridge in to cross the lake, others have said it is not a long walk anymore. I would probably pay for preferred due to mobility issues, otherwise I think the bridge makes all the difference in where to stay. Their main pool is fabulous and the quiet pools are fine. Their food court has a good variety, that is, IF it is open? I like the atmosphere at CS and never felt like it was a "convention" resort. As far as the buses, we had no problem with them at all. It's been a few years since we were there, so maybe that situation has changed? But we had no difficulty with the buses either to or from the resort.

I've always said the buses are the buses are the buses. I haven't been since all the new Covid rules but before that I've stayed at just about every resort on site except for PORFQ, AoA, SS, WL (have stayed at the Fort in our RV) and the new Riv. I've had good and bad bus service everywhere and wouldn't pick a resort based on that alone. If you ride the bus all the way around it is going to take longer and I wouldn't try to get on at the last stop because it tends to be full before then.

They are selling park hoppers for 2021. I would go Pop and Skyliner back from Epcot.

I've also only stayed at CS. The property is just so beautiful!
