We stayed in Movies 6 years (!) ago and have stayed in Pop twice since then. We are going back in December and are trying to decide between the 2. We have had a daughter who will be 2 1/2 when we go in December so we think she would get a HUGE kick out of ASM. However, from what I remember pre-refurb at movies is that we were not that impressed with the food court or the buses. Our stays at Pop have been great and we love the food court. :cool1:

It's been so long since we've stayed at Movies though that I want to give it a fair shake. Plus the change from Pop would be fun. Don't want to get in a rut!

Any thoughts or has anyone had a chance to compare the two? Is there really a difference or am I just creating it? :confused3

Having stayed at both, I would choose Pop. I love the food court and the fact that they have their own bus.
Yes, the buildings are great with Buzz and Woody for small children to look at but that wouldn't make my decision. I would still stay at Pop.. We loved their pools as well.

I haven't stayed at Pop so keep that in mind. We stayed at ASMo in March in a Toy Story room. We liked the resort. Had a great room location (rm 9911) close to the playground, pool, food court and buses. My kids are TS fanatics and their excitement over the TS courtyard pretty much brought me to tears. I made the decision for them because I wanted it to be memorable for all of us. Personally there is nothing at Pop that would elicit the same response from my kids even though DH and I would get a huge kick out of some the decades (maybe it will be a place we stay when the kids are older and we can tell them stories from our childhood). We had no major complaints about the buses (except one night coming back from DTD around dinner time) and we found the food court to be good (I liked the make your own salad station and MH really liked the Italian sub). I actually enjoyed breakfast at the food court more than some of the pricey character breakfast meals. We would go back to ASMo but we want to try as many different resorts as possible.
