Pop Vs All Stars?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the All Stars are now less busy with Pop Century open? We are still debating where to stay for last two nights of our trip (Oct 1 & 2) and would love to stay in a new hotel, but my kids would also love to go to AS Movies to see the Toy Story characters (Son loves Buzz). We're also not big on crowds which is why we travel during off season. We've stayed at AS Music before so are familiar with the Value resorts. So just wondering if Pop is crazy busy these days and the AS have slowed down in occupancy?? Thanks, Jo

I was told by some of my CM friends that they (WDW) are trying to keep the families at POP and keeping the groups (schools, tour, etc) at the All Stars. With that news, I recently changed my Spring reservations from the Movies to POP. I don't have a problem with the school groups, but didn't want to be the lone couple at Movies.

We just returned from Disney. We stayed at the All Star Sports and it was not crowded. In fact it was just right. Some groups and some families as well as couples. We did go over to POP and check it out and there seemed to be many more people around and it felt very crowded. The food court at POP had a lot more to offer though. princess:
