Pop vs All Stars

I am now planning a possible Auntie 6yo nephew trip for the end of the summer. Since there won't be a second adult to care for the little one while I go to the gym, etc. or to split costs with me I'm looking at the Values. What are the pros and cons of Pop vs the All Stars for a late August to Labor Day trip?

I've stayed at both and they are both great for kids. I'm not a kid, but I like them too. Some will complain about the buses at the All Stars and I'm sure they've had some issues, but I've stayed at ASMo 6 times and I haven't had a problem with the buses at all. The movie theme is really cute and my DS loves it. ASMo and POP are very similar, in general. POP is bigger, and I found it noisier. With ASMo being older, I've come across a few looses handles on the sink and dripping bath tubs. On the other hand, the plumbing at POP is noisy and you can hear the toliets and showers from the other rooms. The food courts are comparable, but I prefer the selection at ASMo. They are both very convenient. The gift shop at POP is bigger. Either is a good choice. Hope you have a great stay, whichever you choose.

I'll say the same thing in this thread as I did in the other: I prefer pop just slightly over the all stars because of the Goofy jet fountain. My DD had a blast in there. If the all stars had that, I'd say it would be a tie for me.

The All Stars, especially the movies has a more Disney feel too it. When we moved to Pop from All Star Movies I felt the difference, the Disney feeling was gone. I like the POP. However I found it more crowded. The buses were worse then the Movies as there were more people and they seem to cram them in...

Well, if it becomes just the two of us we'll definitely try for Pop first. If Grandma joins us we'll go to CSR. Thanks for the input!

I definitely like the All Star Movies more, but both have different perks/negatives.

All Star Movie Perks:
-Better theming (IMHO)
-The Fantasia Pool
-Use of all Star Music and Sports pools (at night All Star Music plays movies by the pool)
-Pretty good food court

All Star Movie Negatives:
-Guests have complained about transportation issues as the bus is shared by all three All Star resorts

Pop Perks:
-Bigger
-Bar/Lounge
-Newer

Negatives:
-Overly Crowded
-Noisey
