Pop to Poly 50th Birthday Trip!

I just booked my birthday trip for November. No kids for the first time, just me and the hubs! I originally wanted to stay the week at WL but then after looking at my options I settled on a split stay as I’ve always wanted to stay at Poly and I could not afford a whole week there. We will start out at Pop for the first 4 days and then switch to Poly for the last four days. I have not stayed at either resort before. I chose Pop since it has the sky liner and I think my husband will like that at night. I chose a standard room since we aren’t spending a lot of time there. For the Poly I chose a resort view room. Neither reservation gave me the option to choose a king size bed. For people that have stayed at both what do I need to know? Better locations, rooms etc? There was no option to choose a king bed even though it listed as a bed choice in the listing. How do I add or request this?

I can only help with Pop and will say you may request a king bed but it is not guaranteed. Many of the Pop rooms that have king beds are accessible rooms so those requests are fulfilled first.

This thread will help show you some of the king room configurations that have been reported. Those are the only rooms we currently have details about.
