Just joining in late on this thread. We just booked POP yesterday for a End of June trip. Can someone tell me when the refurb is supposed to be done? We really need that curtain in the bathroom with a girl niece having to stay with a boy niece. Any specific areas that will be done first?

We love to stay in the 80's section but we will have two rooms together, so I don't think we will get to be choosy. Any Chance that is going to be done by July? I put that we would like to be in the 80's if possible.

Should be all done by June or July at the latest... probably way sooner than either of those.. but I'm just being safe in my estimations.

Now they (the hanging things) are a very good idea. I'll see if I can find one in the UK that is lightweight and doesn't cost a bomb. Thanks for the tip!

Odds are 85% of the resort (if not all of it) will be done by then.

Again my guesses (and they are guesses) ... tend to allow extra time that may not be needed.

I'm on the airplane right now (Airtran=free wifi right now!) heading to Disney World right now (baltimore first though! ). We check into POP tomorrow so I'll be sure to update soon on if we got building 6 or not..we're crossing our fingers!!!

Thanks for the pics Auditor. That is exactly what I was looking for. I don't think anyone really questioned whether Deb at allears was truthful, I think all the other posts were becoming suspicious because there was time to log on and not attach a pic.

I'm so excited now and hopefully I am lucky enough to get into one of these rooms.

We just booked Pop yesterday for a vacation for Easter! We're excited! Can someone do a recap of the buildings that have been refurbished so far? I have read through most of this thread...but wanted to get a concise list. Also...should we just wait and request a certain building upon check-in...or...should we fax or call something in? We have had good success at doing requests at check-in, however; this year we are arriving late to the resort...so we may not be able to request anything...what do you all think?
