A note about the privacy curtain. Not really earth shatteringly important, but we had a refurbed room with the curtain which was great and convenient. The only annoying thing is that it doesn't have a tieback to the wall so everytime you walked in and out of that area, you had to move the curtain.
Next trip I will bring something to help keep is aside when not in use.
Now that I'm within 10 days of check in (WOO HOO!!!) I would like to get some opinions on online check in . I've done it before, but I usually only have 1 request for a room near the bus stop. This time I'm traveling with my daughter and her family, so I've requested connecting rooms, 70's section and a rehabbed room. Do you guys think I'd be better of not doing online check in so I can talk to them about my requests when we check in. We'll be checking in fairly early in the morning and don't expect our rooms to be ready anyway.
Thanks for any info/advice anyone has.
Terri
In my quest to be accurate-or anal-, for my run warm-up and cool-down, I "hugged" the buildings and was able to see in about a dozen or so windows in bldg1&2. Off all of them, one room was refurbed-2142. Looking at the other rooms, I realized how nice the new carpets are!
Okay, off the iPhone for the day-on to bigger and better things-Animal Kingdom!![]()
Terri, I did online checkin and got all of my requests (70's, connecting, 4th floor). Chances are 90% that you'll get rehabbed even w/o request. If you don't like it when you checkin, they can still change it. It's not like you have to get off line and go to another place. Enjoy your vacation!!! I'm sending pixie dust your way!![]()

Ahhhhh, finally here!!! I couldn't remember if it was this thread or the other, so I'm posting in both...sorry!
The refurb room is great! I'm in 50s building 3, 3rd floor, facing fireworks. Got everything I requested except ground floor. Only had those in body 2-not returned.
For those who were asking about the medical fridge for insulin, it's dorm room size-about 2 feet by 2 feet.
Hello Tammi
If you don't mind me asking, can I ask what your room number is please? We are a couple of Aussies coming to Pop next March. We are babies of the 50's so thought I would ask for rooms in the 50's section. But a room which would allow us to see the fireworks would be a true bonus. Just wondering which room numbers would be good for this.
Sadly I think we are going to be there during Spring Break (we do not have this downunder) so do you think a 4th floor would be the quietest way to go? Many thanks southaussie![]()
