Pop do they do anything special??

When we go the begining of may and stay at POP I was just wondering if that hotel would do anything special for you on your arrival like some of the other hotels I have read about on here will do for you kids... does anyone know or have they had anything special done for them ?

I wouldn't go expecting to receive something at the resort. If it does happen then you have a little pixie dust at the beginning of your vacation.

I like the atmosphere when you arrive at POP. There is chalk for writing on the sidewalk and hula hoops you can play with. It's a great way to start your vacation.

thank you safetymom, I wasn't expecting much as it is a value resort just wondering if they do anything special if you ask LOL, ( I am good at asking for stuff) with the chaulk and hula hoops, do you need to ask for them or do they give you them when you arrive ?

There are CM's standing there waiting to help with luggage. They can give you the chalk and hula hoops.

My DD loved all the window decorations and animal towels at POP, but we never got any, (even tho' I always left a tip.) After about 3 days of her running to the room in the evenings hoping for a decoration, I simply left a note with the tip asking for towel animals. That evening we had the cutest ones in the window. DD was happy and I learned to 'just ask."

Dont miss the food court. If you have the chance to eat or be there around 6 the whole staff lines up and does the hustle.

In Feb. dd(6) and ds(4) were given helium filled balloons with "mickey head" weights on them when we checked in.

hahahaha jovidan that wasn't what I was going for but thanks for that tip hehehe... I hope we get the animals my kids always love them when we travel to the carribean as we always get them at the resorts we have stayed at in mexico they do some awsome bird ones! MinnieMommy was the ballons for a birthday or just because they were being nice that day there ?? I also love when the staff does a line dance thing they do that in the dominican all the time at the resorts its fun !! OH my gosh I am getting sooooo excited weeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!

No birthday or special occasion, just because.

We had some cute towel creations throughout our stay as well (not everyday): a duckie, a duckie family in a boat, a heart with a red heart centre (valentine's week), their own toys playfully arranged and dd & ds's absolute favorite.... one of their own "must have" sleep toys from home (a bear) was on the floor outside of the bathroom... "eating" the trailing toilet paper off of the roll from the bathroom.

wow that Was nice of them ( the balloons) !!! hahaha bet that was cute the bear with the trail something that takes so little time and effort to do can really brighten ones day eh ? I think its great they do the animals !
P.S MinneyMom ... I noticed you are from Nova Scotia, where abouts my stepdad is from GlaceBay, you all got slammed this winter with snow my gosh!! Not sure if you read in the paper there about a little store that got held up and the guy was chashing one woman with a knife and she locked herself in the bathroom or back room forget which one?? Anyway if you did read it it was my dads sister in law it happened to yikes!
