Hi All,

I will be visiting in Jan. and I will want to be able to go to the playgrounds at some of the other AS (noticed Pop Century doesn't have one). How close are they? Will we need to drive?

Yes you will have to drive. Pop is not part of the All Star resorts. Are you sure there is no playgroud?

Good luck on both of your trips and thanks for responding!

The Disney web site showed a list of all the playgrounds and it didn't indicate there was one for Pop Century. I was pleased to say that they showed hours for the playgrounds so it seems that we can go to virtually any during operating hours--not like the pools!

It looks like we will need to rent a car--no big deal. I was confused I guess I thought Pop Century was one of the All Star Resorts. Do you prefer Pop Century over All Stars?

Pop Century is a separate resort from AS. And there is a playground. Do a search of this web site and there should be a nice picture of it. I think(?) it is over by the 70's bldg. From what I hear, there is plenty to do around PC for small ones. You should have a great time!

You should check out the Pop FAQ thread- it has tons of info, pictures, everything you could ever want to know.

I prefer the Pop to AS resorts, but it is a matter of prefrence. It is newer and that is nice.

Don't bother with renting a car. You can take a bus from Pop to nearest park and then hop onto a bus or Monorail or boat to get to the resort you are wanting to see.

If you have a lot of time with a little one check out the Fort Wilderness resort area. Lots to do and it is fun just getting there (by raft/boat).

Here's a picture of it:

Thanks for letting me know!!!

Chip N Dale Express:

Thanks for the picture and the info. I didn't see Pop Century under the general playground list under the preschool section so I thought there wasn't one.
