I just came back from there, and the only buildings that are right close to the lobby are the 60's buildings; there is no overhang from these buildings to the lobby; so you'll get a little wet, but it probably won't matter anyway, you'd be walking right beside the pool!!! (splish/splash) There is a guest laundry building right there also. I was prepared not to like it, but to my surprise, I did. I enjoyed walking around the grounds looking at the oversized icons, which are hidden stairways. The rooms are small but very nice; although the outside building colors are loud, the interior rooms are decorated in muted colors, very restful. Beds are super comfy --pools look fantastic. what you probably won't like is the inconveniece of parking so far away from your room. That is the only drawback. There is a luggage drop off, though.
