Hi all, just got back from the world! we stayed at POP century. It was so beautiful! We arrived on opening day and stayed till friday. They did not fill up the first day so the hotel was pretty empty! I have to say too. the service was outstanding. I know this had something to do with it being a new hotel. Although disney always makes your stay a pleasure they really went all out. On the 14 they only allowed 400 rooms to be filled so perhaps they had too many employess casue they went all out. when we arrived they were about 8 CM outside. they played with the kids grabbed our luggage which was immediatly brought to the room. They had to shut the water down one day to check something and called us to find out exactly what time we thought they should do so. they also called us twoce to make sure everything was good.
As far as appearence it is much like the all stars. but it really does bring you back in time. we stayed in the 80's building by the computer pool. like always it was apleasure being there. if just once give POP a try!

We're just back, too, and we also loved it!

I'm working on a trip report with pictures, but I came home with a horrible cold (great souvenir, huh?) and today is my first day back at work. I'll post a message on this board when it's ready!

Thanks for the great review, did any of you see Tyler?;) I will BE THERE in 39 days!:bounce:

I saw him!! ;)
When I arrived about 5pm on Wednesday, he was already gone for the day, and I was told he'd be off the next day.
So Friday I purposed to go say hi and did!
He asked if I was from Louisiana and I had to say no. (hmm, wonder if I could've said yes, lol, since I live on Louisiana Ave? hehe
Anyways, I thanked him profusely for getting us all pumped and answering our questions. He's a sweetheart!
Next morning, he was at the bus stop and I was only there long enough to hear him ask, What color is the ever ready bunny? and people shouted PINK!
Ok, Tyler, I'm wondering what does the bunny have to do with Disney?!?! :jester:

Great trip! Great resort! Great service!

The reason I asked is that just a few minutes prior, one of my co-workers had told me that someone from Lousiana was looking for me, so I had thought it was you :)

LOL, it was a Pop Culture Pop Quiz at Pop Century. LOL I was just doing some trivia with guests at the bus stops to keep them entertained. (Not as if I needed to, buses were running VERY quickly that day) But I usually started off with a very easy question like that one, and then worked into the more harder pop culture questions. :)
