I asked a question a day or two ago and got no replies and I now see why; I really messed up the wording very badly, so I'll try again.
Last year I stayed at the new AoA resort and we loved it. I could see POP across the lake and it looked like so much fun that I'd like to stay there on my next trip in Sept. 2014. I read that another member has already booked for Autumn 2014 and for the Holidays in 2014! Should I be booking for Sept. 2014 already? Does that month fill up early for POP? I was hoping to book around Feb. to March. TIA

we have 4 days left till check in i was reading somewhere about bb offers and if we did not receive offer in check in packet we could call a 4 digit number that started with 8 but now i cannot remember what it was. I have got to start writing the info down as i read it.

I'm not an expert. Next week will be my first time staying on property. I booked Pop at the end of August for our trip October 9-13. Not very far in advance.

We arrive Nov. 30 at POP. So what are yalls suggestions for the bedt building/area?
Last time we stayed at pop we walked straight out of the lobby, past the pools, and our room was the last ground floor room on the right. I cant remember the bldg for the life of me!

We were at POP 9/21 to 9/28. This was our first stay at a value resort. The kids LOVED the themes/statues but the food court was AWFUL! Extremely slow workers, always a line, unclean and the food was gross.
On night 5 we walked to AoA for dinner. What a HUGE difference. The workers were SUPER friendly, it was very, very clean and the food was so much better.

Well, there's no guarantee of course, but I booked for April 2013 in March 2013. We were visiting relatives and decided to throw a few days in at WDW. We only stayed a couple nights, but there was availability the whole week.

Any Poppers checking in this afternoon - sorry if you were in that HUGE line. The computers were down and the check ins were being handled manually. I was with the concierge. She said that Pop was expecting 700 checkins so not a great time for the system to go down. There were people along the entire front desk and completely filling in the "ropes". She said they are expecting 1000 next weekend due to the holiday. It's buzzing around here!

I was definitely a little confused by your original post hehe.

Both our Pop trips were booked about 6 months in advance, but I was messing around with our dates and adding days onto the trip as recently as a month ago (so 6 weeks before check-in) with no availability issues. Also, at ASMu we once added on extra days after we'd checked in, with no issues either. In my very non-expert opinion, I'd say there's no rush just now to book for Sept 2014, but you could always toss down a one-night deposit and reserve your dates just in case, if you're worried

Finishing up with packing, finally! Does anyone know how hot or chilly it might get next week in the evening? I saw the extended forecast that someone posted somewhere, but I'm just not sure if we should pack pants? We stuck with all shorts and a sweatshirt per person. Also, I'm starting to get nervous about the crowds next Saturday and Sunday for Columbus Day...hopefully we'll be so much in the spirit of things that the crowds won't get to us.

I would expect it will be quite warm. We arrive the 19th and I have packed all summer clothes (shorts, capris, tank tops, T-shirts) but also have packed 1 pants & 1 long sleeve shirt just in case it gets a bit cooler one night. Will probably also have a sweatshirt since it will likely be in the 30s or 40s for our early morning flight from Milwaukee.

12 more days...we can finally say "next week(end) we are going to Disney!" I can't wait for our first stay at Pop....though with all the terrible reviews lately I doubt we will ear much at the food court!

time for this. Had Done Xams Party the last 3 years which we really loved.

Online checkin keeps getting to last page & saying request cannot be completed & try again later. I'm sort of ok with this, because I don't want to have a credit card attached for charges & can't opt out (though perhaps when we get there?), as the pin is required to move to next step. :-/

No I don't think it does. We booked around that time this yr for our sept trip. Me and my DD went to NOJ weekend.

Extra fast passes under the mattress really

They are for any ride, and expire on the 15th. Thought since we didn't use them, it would be nice for someone else! So yep really, under the mattress.

I did online check in and do not have a credit card attached to my reservation. From what I have gathered the PIN is also used when you pay with you dining plan credits.

That's helpful, thanks! I'm trying to do the check in on the desktop rather than the ipad. Not sure if it will make a difference, but worth a shot.

eta= nope, get same error message with goofy that the process cannot be completed.

When I first did online check in I had no problems but I get that message every time I try to modify, however some people are having luck on the mydisneyreservation website instead of the MDE site. Hope that helps.
