We got the magic band invites for our upcoming POP trip!!!!!
Im BEYOND thrilled, made all of our FP+ choices. HOW will I get through the next 3 weeks??

We're staying in the 80's building when we go at the end of the month. Does that section have refrigerators yet?? I want to do a garden grocer order for breakfasts and we need a fridge. TIA

I am starting to plan a trip with my niece for May 2014. I had orginally looked in AoA however that would be in the LM rooms and I just don't think that I am in to that. I like Pop because it is smaller in size than the other values. I last stayed at POR and while I liked it I found it too large for me. My favorite resort (besides YC which is out of budget) is FQ.

I have never stayed at a value so I am nervous about how I would like it however I am keeping in mind that this is a budget trip as I am still planning on going at my regular time of Sept.

Thanks everyone for the information. I think it helped to read everyone's posts about the resort.

I haven't seen a picture of the new bedding. Does anyone have any?

Just checked in to Pop. Room ready . Building 5.... New bedding and a fridge. Life is good!!! Oh...clean as a whistle too .

Guess I should have requested the fastpass room lol!!!

If possible, could you post a picture of the new bedding? I know everyone here wants to see it and so do I. Thanks!!!!

When did Pop start assigning your building a month in advance? Last time I checked buildings were still just a request.

We requested 80's when I did online check in. I'm just working on the assumption I'm getting what I asked for so I can plan.

We just returned from our stay at Pop. We were there 9/25-10/5. I checked-in online and at that time, I made requests: 60's, lower floor, facing lake. We got all of our requests. Our room had a white bedspread with white circles on it...there was a small bedspread over the larger one with the old design on it. And we also had a very good Mousekeeper who kept our room looking awesome. She made towel animals almost every day and gave us extra bags of towels after we requested a few extra. I also had a working fridge. When we left for Disney, I wasn't sure we would have one in our room.

The CMs are great. The resort was very busy and the good court was mobbed every time we went. The food was pretty gross which was disappointing since I loved the food every time I went before. I didn't realize that they completely changed the menu. I knew there were changes but it seemed as if everything good was gone. After a few meals we just decided to eat elsewhere.

I encountered a lot of rude guests at the resort. It kind of ruined the experience for me. Maybe it was because it was busy or maybe it was just timing on my part (wrong place, wrong time). I just tried to ignore it and brush it off. One man came into the laundry while I was folding our clothes, was swearing, slamming things, and throwing a fit because there were no available machines. That was a little scary.

Pop was overall a good place to stay but I think next time I will try something new.

Any Poppers checking in this afternoon - sorry if you were in that HUGE line. The computers were down and the check ins were being handled manually. I was with the concierge. She said that Pop was expecting 700 checkins so not a great time for the system to go down. There were people along the entire front desk and completely filling in the "ropes". She said they are expecting 1000 next weekend due to the holiday. It's buzzing around here!

We have 4 days left till check in I was reading somewhere about bb offers and if we did not receive offer in check in packet we could call a 4 digit number that started with 8 but now I cannot remember what it was. I have got to start writing the info down as I read it.

Finishing up with packing, finally! Does anyone know how hot or chilly it might get next week in the evening? I saw the extended forecast that someone posted somewhere, but I'm just not sure if we should pack pants? We stuck with all shorts and a sweatshirt per person. Also, I'm starting to get nervous about the crowds next Saturday and Sunday for Columbus Day...hopefully we'll be so much in the spirit of things that the crowds won't get to us.
