Just returned from a wonderful stay at Pop Century!!! My grand daughter and I were there May 3-9. We were in 70s section (giant Mickey phone), Room 6347.
Great room, great location! Not too far of a walk to food court/bus stops. Our room was nice and clean! Didn't hear any neighbors.
On the first day there, my grand daughter got hold of an ink pen and wrote a small line (maybe an inch long) on the cover sheet (bed spread). We were there for 6 nights and they did not change the cover sheet - I noticed the ink line every day. Not a big deal, but I did notice.
Oh, I did put some milk and apple juice in the refrigerator and it was almost frozen the next morning. Didn't use it for any food, just the milk and juice. After that, I'd use the ice bucket and ice to keep it cold over night.
We did not have any problems at the food court. Food was pretty good, and there were lots of tables available.
Bus service was great - I think there was only one time we had to stand.
The pool was nice - but we spent most of our time in the kiddie pool! She LOVED it!
Weather was nice!
Our first park day was Magic Kingdom! We had breakfast at the castle, then waited for rope drop. It got crazy crowded with people rushing for the Anna/Elsa meet and greet. Thankfully, we had a 9:25 am fast pass. We rode the carousel first, then as we passed by the meet and greet area, the wait was up to 300 minutes!!!! This was about 20 minutes after the park opened!!! We used our fast pass and waited maybe 5 minutes. Anna/Elsa spent a lot of time with my grand daughter. It was really nice! But I wouldn't wait 300 minutes~
We ate at Ohana for breakfast and dinner, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, Via Napoli, Hollywood & Vine lunch, breakfast in the Castle, and most of our counter service was at Pop. No complaints on the food - everything was really good.
If you have any questions, please let me know!!!! If you are going to Pop Century soon, I KNOW you'll have a great time!!!!
