We will be going mid June. Think it will be possible to shop in the Emporium and then step out shortly before the parade gets there, or is that crazy/wishful thinking?

Many people do it intentionally or not - may not find a great last minute spot for small ones to see everything and there is a lot of jostling of people going to and fro … but I have done it a few time and still enjoyed it.

We will have a 6 and 8 year old. Any other recommendations for finding a spot that we won't have to wait too long and might be a little shaded?

I am sure there will be be tons of suggestions, I try to gravitate around frontier land at parade kick off time -

Either Frontierland it possibly at the end near the fire station or barbershop?

So, my last trip we entered MK at noon. The noon parade starts at Frontier Land and takes about 20 minutes to make it to the front round about. We sat on the curb in front of Tony's. My daughter bought a caramel apple to share. I have never had a better view of the parade!

That's literally what we always do for the parade, hang in the emporium and then pop out a couple of minutes beforehand. But my kiddos are preteen/teen...I'm pretty much the shortest one.

It’s direct sunlight, but I really like stepping out of Emporium (between Emporium and the Barbershop) and sitting on the curb. The parade comes right at you. If you stand along the wall there is shade, but your view will be blocked by people filling in the space.
