Pop Century or Caribbean Beach Resort?

Glad you landed on a decision! Uber and Lyft are still getting back to normal at WDW so plan for at least 15 minutes for one to arrive. That was our experience in February for all four rideshares we booked.

I've stayed at both two or three times and although there are some things I like about CBR the bus system is just not awesome. At all. There are some really pretty things but I think you are making the right choice.

I think you made a good choice! We just returned yesterday from POP and stayed at CBR last month. MK bus line was crazy long at POP in the mornings but other than that I thought bus service at POP was great. I liked not having the multiple internal stops before leaving the resort. We also liked being able to hop on an AOA bus from a park if that showed up 1st or that line was shorter. We did that twice actually and it was such a time saver. Skyliner from CBR was more convenient because there was no transfer but if I hadn’t just stayed at CBR I don’t think I would have minded that as much. Middle of day the pool at Pop seemed less crowded. My thoughts on that was maybe those who paid more for CBR planned on more pool time. Much easier finding a lounger at Pop than CBR for afternoon pool break. Food courts at both were comparable but CBR had more choices with Riviera so close and offerings at Banana Cabana. You could just hop on the skyliner from Pop to eat at CBR or Riviera though. Skyliner never had a line for us other than park open or close. I preferred the Pop room. Smaller but def newer and cleaner. Beds were super comfortable. Gift shop offerings at Pop seemed better but no fridge to grab a bottle of soda, milk or beer. No small cases of water for sale like at CBR. I think you will be happy at Pop!!!

Buses only run to Epcot/DHS at Skyliner resorts during very busy times, during non peak times, they are not running buses and even during these busier times, the buses aren't very frequent. When buses are running, they usually will start 45-one hour prior to park opening but it definitely can vary. If you are trying to arrive at a park early, the buses can be spotty but usually they're pretty reliable early AM.
Currently buses are not running from Pop to Epcot or DHS unless the Skyliner is closed for a storm or mechanical issue. They do not run them before park opening at this time.

Buses are available from morning to night from AoA which is about a 8-10 min walk from the Pop buses.

And we actually ENJOY the extra leg of the Skyliner flight when staying at POP because the Flight over Hourglass Lake is so cool. :)

Update: we moved to caribbean beach 🤣
Good choice! We stayed at CBR in October, which was our first stay there since the reconfiguration and Skyliner addition, and we had a great stay. In the current environment with reduced operating hours, its creating quite a line at the Pop/AOA station in the mornings. Guests coming from those resorts first have to wait in that line, and then have to head to the back of the CBR line once they arrive at CBR to transfer. This is really only an issue for DHS, but it does result in added wait time. When we were there in October, they took the first few groups from the AOA/Pop line and put them directly in the DHS line on the platform, but once the Skyliner to DHS started moving, most of the incoming guests were sent down the ramp to the back of the CBR line. FWIW, we got to the Skyliner around 8:10am for 10am DHS opening - Skyliner started running around 8:45 and we were in the park by 9:15. This was still when ROTR groups could only be obtained at 10am, so it may not be as crazy at the Skyliner in the morning anymore.
