Everyones new tickers look great! I loved when I happened upon that site about a year ago. It's so precise and my family thinks it's real spazzy when I blurt out the exact time til our trip.

I use that site too - but sometimes we overload there server, so if at the end of a month you get red x instead of the countdown - he lost server space!! It came back tho!!

Just a quick check in to say "Hi". I shouldn't be up this late because tomorrow DH,DS,DD, and I are off to Hershey Park for the day. We're pretty excited although it's not going to compare to Disney. Still, it will be fun and thankfully, free. It's a company sponsored day for us so no OOP costs except for souvenirs and parking ($12!! Crazy huh?...For twelve bucks that space better pry itself up off the ground and bring my car to meet me at the park exit at the end of the day when I'm exhausted! ) Am I cheap? Yeah, I think I am. For twelve bucks that hersheypark parking space better be chocolate covered! I'm on a roll. For twelve bucks, Milton Hershey himself better be valet parking my car for me! Ok...enough already...I must be getting tired. 55 days, 5 hours, 27 minutes to go...

WOW! My daughter's paper chain for our Disney trip is on #57! We bought lots of Glow yesterday - I don't post much, but keep up with everyone who does. I just never have much to say. My daughter (10) didn't want to go to the glow party at first, but now she talks about it as much as the parks! She really wants to see everyone glowing in the water - Fun!

My DH didn't want to go to the GLOW party last year He said "meeting a bunch of strangers !! I don't think so". Of course with all the chatting we had done in the months before I felt like I had known all these women for years . It took him about 5 minutes before he was having a blast. I couldn't get him to leave He can't wait for the Sept party

OK - I'm in BIG trouble!! DD is also 10 going into 5th grade!! (I'm looking for friends for her!!) well I've taken her out of school the last week of Sept for ummm like the last 2 years - and they always have a break then - NOT this year!! She also is in the 98%tile in the nation.distirct.class - so I've never really cared about her making school work up - plus they dont give grades - so what if they "check" mark her - she's had the teachers that say "anybody but dd can answer or ask questions" makes me mad they treat kids that way!!

So I take her out of school!! "so what"!! (btw I am a teacher - since having kids I am the "permanant sub for the district)

I will be there too - with my 10 year old 5th grade daughter. Maybe the 3 of them can pal around!

Whoo-hoo! A whole flock of 10 year old truants! We should have matching jackets made for them--like the Pink Ladies from Grease, only they'd have to be the Lime Green Ladies. We'll only be at POP for one night (9/21), but we'll be spending lots of time in the pool the evening of 9/21 and the morning of 9/22. My dd will be the one with the permanent tie-tyed cheesecake stains around her mouth (the TDC was the main reason she choose POP for our extra night). See you all there!

add my DD to the list of 10yr olds!! She doesnt know - but she isnt to enthusiastic about going back to Disney because she's all alone!! I was hoping to introduce her to other 10yr old girls!!

Im soo glad he enjoyed it afterall. I hope that DH has fun...belive it or not we are both pretty shy people...and ofcourse alot of people pre judge us based on DH tattoos so we have are use to people "avoiding" us because they assume he was incarserated or somthing. Anyhow, Im looking forward to meeting everyone I just hope DH finds some friends too

Us too! No pre-judging here-we can't wait to meet you and everyone else! I'm just a lot more quiet in person than I am on-line so please don't hold that against me My dh is a little hesitant too, but I think they'll all warm up just like Kelli's dh! Can't wait!!

Farrah no judging here - unless you want me to compare my Dad's Tattoos to your dh's No big deal really!! and now that I think about it, I get judged all the time - I had one guy "dump" me, something about being a redneck... I cant remember if it was him, or me that was redneck status!! I get judged by my own family - they just dont know me!!

Not sure about the Fantasmic Meet - Fantasmic is such a huge venue - and an amazing event!!

My dh is shy too - may be a "hoosier thang"!!

My DH will have a friend! LOL-really he is a likable guy, just gets alot of dirty looks for no reason-kinda ticks me off. all most all of his tatts are of jesus, mary, angels, in memory of my step dad, our sons names, my name, some beautiful birds, etc--ya know nothing apaulling. Well I am soo excited that ya all are soo open minded and willing to give DH and I a chance Thanks guys
