Judy! I did see your daughter and husband a few times in the main building and like a stalker rotfl: )stood there one time watching them to see them walk over to you, but they either walked up to order food in the food court or I lost them.

What made me notice your daughter was we were walking into the main building from the pool and she was running by us toward the bathrooms and tripped and fell right in front of us. I asked her if she was ok and she shook her head yes, then I looked up to see a man and asked him if she was with him and he said yes and then he tended to her. Then the tears came. That's when I suspected it was her from the photos you sent me. But I had to be sure to see her with you, which never happened. I didn't remember seeing your DH in the pics, just you and your daughter.

I had my tye die mickey heads plastered on our bags and stroller.



We were in the 50's building facing the lake, 3rd floor, rooms 2343 and 2342.

We were right under you Pikester.

I'll post some pics later.

Not sure if I'll do a TR, 10 days, ugh to write about.

Besides I have to finish the 4 day. I can now that school is done.

I guess I should have went touring around the 50's building more. I wore a tye-die Mickey Head on my Lanyard. I had some lookers but no talkers.

It is! It is! You must be doing something right to have him trained to take pictures of decorated windows.

When we walk around we always look at the decorated windows. I just never walked in front of our building. It was always away from our building.

Wasn't it great going out your door to watch the fireworks? You could see both Magic Kingdoms and Epcots.

Heck you could hear Epcots inside your room.

Tell me about it! The first night there it scared the crap out of me! One night it was extra loud. I think the wind was blowing from Epcot to us. We could even hear the music.

I forgot the craziness of having all the boys home for the holidays...lol
And not to mention the lack of quiet...and sanity

I have been looking at another trip to WDW, Ds has a very long weekend the end of the month(off school Monday -Wednesday), and I actually got Dh to agree to it....UNTIL..

my darling sweet DH offered to send me to Alaska in April to see DD. I can see our baby girl preggers and help her get the babys room ready...WOOHOO....

So, so long WDW, I am going to ALASKA!! Plus I am going when she has the little peanut in June. Still no word on what the baby is...

Just when we think there is a Disney ban in our house...life throws us a curveball..lol

Eldest DS laid a good guilt trip on us for once again going away without him..(25 and on his own, going to school and living in Atlanta) 3 cruises and 4 trips to WDW to be exact. So all he said he wants for Christmas next year is to go to WDW with us..awww..He had received a code while he was home for rooms and packages.

So I look at packages...OUCH...

Then I get an email from my BFF who is also a military spouse...
AND....
WDW is offering all active duty members and retirees a FREE, YES FREE 5 day hopper with water park, and they can purchase up to 5 additional tickets for 99.00, or upgrade to hopper and water parks for 25.00 more...OMG...a 5 day park hopper and water parks for 124 a person.

and if that isn't enough, they are offering 40% off moderate resorts..

So guess what DH is checking into today? You bet, a trip to WDW early next December. I think we will go the week after Thanksgiving this time.

Now if I could only get DD home....

No word on the baby's sex yet. Ultrasound scheduled for Feb at 20 weeks. Heartrate is in the 150's...could be a girl...lol

Now I have to start my diet, I refuse to go back to Mexico FAT.

I'm thinking Monday.

It looks all of us are happy last Christmas season. We just got there last Christmas holidays and the experience is really wonderful, now we are planning to go back for the next holidays. I'm a little bit excited again.

I decided to resurrect this thread since my DH surprised me recently with a "Hey, lets go back to WDW this year instead of doing a big family summer vacation. How about the week after Thanksgiving?"

So, as of yesterday it's booked. We will be staying at Pop from 11/29-12/6!

Anyone else going to be there the same time? I plan on bringing my tie dyed Mickey Head again.

Yep.....we will be there...well there as in WDW, not POP though...We are staying at the AKL believe it or not...thanks to the incredible military special going on, we got an amazing deal.

Our dates are Dec 2-6.

But, there might be a trip for just DH and I somewhere warm and tropical come January. A big maybe on that one.

Hey guys,
I feel like I have fallen off the DIS world...
my little part time job has turned into a full time job, 5 days a week....and to think I was worried when I got dropped down to 1 day a week a few months ago. We are short handed, so that is part of the 5 days a week, 8 hours...

I will admit its helping pay for the Dec trip. I am excited, our eldest is going with us this time, he hasn't been with us since 2004. Stephen may come for the weekend depending on his college schedule in Dec. Looks like he is close to surving his first year of culinary school.

Mom to be is doing FANTASTIC....11 weeks and counting. She is having a scheduled C-section because of her brain surgery back in 2002. So I think she is a bit relieved. Her friends found out I was coming, and they are throwing her baby shower while I am there. I am so excited!!!!
Little EmmaGrace is going to be so very spoiled. Plus I get to go back in July to help her for a few weeks after she has the baby.

Of course, the volcano that is erupting in Alaska is only 100 miles from them. It needs to stop spewing so I can get there. So far Anchorage isn't seeing any ash fall.

Monica, how is Tim? How is school going for you? How are the kiddo's???

Emma is such a beautiful name. Love it!!!!!


Tim is doing great. He just had a CT done today to see if anything else has developed. All of his other apts. have been great, so we are hoping that this is just routine.

School is going good, keeps me very busy and the kids and their functions as well. They are all good.

That's what I was trying to remember when I heard about the volcanoe! I knew there was a connection somewhere in my brain!

I think it's a marvelous gesture for them to throw a baby shower for her while you are there. You will have such a great time being able to experience that with her. I'm excited for you!

Although we had a scare with a CT picking up something new on his good kidney, it was just a cyst. He is fine. Thanks for asking.

Pikester, I AM HERE!!! LOL

The trip was amazing, and time flew by so fast. I don't know where to begin....
I don't fly well, but surprising, the flights were great...crowded, but the time well...flew by... I read during both flights there....

The views in Alaska are stunning...jaw dropping awesome...I seriously want to move there..

Now on to the momma to be....she is so cute pregnant...my little girl is having a little girl....she looks fantastic, even though she is still suffering from morning sickness..I hadn't seen them in over a year, time really flew by.
She had a 4D ultrasound while I was there...truly amazing, yes, EmmaGrace is still a girl, we counted her fingers and toes, and I got to see her and hear her heartbeat. What a thrill for me. She already weighs 4 lbs, and Lindsay is due around June 5th. She will be picking her C-section date next week.

The baby shower was ok, the girl giving it for her, still to this date hasn't mailed out the invitations....lol..so it was small, but we made the best of it. ( and Lindsay is catching flack for it from her MIL...like it was her fault..some people)

So all is well with mom and dad to be....

I saw my first moose....it was the size of a cow, and my SIL told me the one I saw was a baby...OMG....

So now I go back late June after little one is born....probably for about 2 weeks...then the kids are coming home for a visit in September...I go a year plus without seeing them, then we get to see them 3 times in a year...

And I still have to pay for WDW in Dec....
