Poor Unfortunate Souls ~ A Spooktacular Trip Back to the World! UPDATE Reality Check

I'm in! I don't know why it took me so long to find your tr since I read your ptr??? Anyways, I have loved all of it! I love all of your outfits, so cute! I got the pink dooney and bourke wristlet for my birthday, and I love it! I'm getting the white d&b bag (the $195 one) for my birthday, and I am so excited! I also love all of the food porn!!!!!! Can't wait for another update!

Hi! Thanks for the kind words, glad you made it over :goodvibes She was a little bit obsessed with D&B this trip, many shop visits were had regarding those bags ;)

Hey Stef, hey Dave! Been busy lately but just caught up on your update. You two are so flippen cute together. Love the PP pics by the fountain! I hate seeing where you said that the trip was getting close to the end:sad1: Looking forward to the next update and I hope the wedding stuff is still going smoothly!

Hey! Sorry I haven't been on your thread for a while, I kinda don't read TR's while im at work and dont really get into it much in the evenings but i'll try to head over sometime today :goodvibes

Hope you 2 are not spending your free time on the "Kate and Wills official wedding website", we miss you here.:goodvibes

I have not commented here since late December??? I've been lurking on and off and catching up here and there but I can't believe it's been that long.

I'm not quite caught up but here's my highlites....

I LOVE the Captain Hook photopass pictures, and naughty Stitch too.

I know I said on my own thread how sorry I was your DLP trip was a bust, but I truly wish it had been better for you both. Your pictures are beautiful.

Dave, Bob your snowman was a HOOT!

Your photopass pics with Lotso are cute, such a naughty Lotso but so huggable!

I don't think I've ever seen Minnie in her pink dress at DHS -- we must find her in September, Ariana would LOVE to see her. ::yes::

Oooo love your MNSSHP pics! Taking notes!!!

Ahhhh your Dream cruise -- so glad we get to meet you two!! Your Disneymoon sounds fabulous!

How fun you got to colour in the Stitch water art!

Great Boo to You parade pictures and Dr Facillier?? Woo hoo!

Be back soon :teeth:

Haha never! Stef tried updating the thread a few nights ago but Photobucket just wasn't cooperating with her laptop. Will see what I can do to resolve the issue and get those last days posted :goodvibes I know she's itching to start a PTR

Better late than never right? ;)

Getting Captain Hook was a challenge since 2007 but i'm glad we finally got it in, it's quite rare now and looks very cool. Anything with Stitch is a bonus for us so again, very happy we got that one.

I know I said on my own thread how sorry I was your DLP trip was a bust, but I truly wish it had been better for you both. Your pictures are beautiful.

I think it has potential to be a beautiful park, they just need to work on a few things and learn some proper Disney procedures and get those Cast Members in the traditions training programme. Then it will be a great park as well.

Dave, Bob your snowman was a HOOT!

Thanks! Was tough to do but loads of fun :goodvibes

Your photopass pics with Lotso are cute, such a naughty Lotso but so huggable!

Lotso was great, his belly hung really low so he walked kinda funny :rotfl: We do like to meet characters, it's defintely not just for children.

I don't think I've ever seen Minnie in her pink dress at DHS -- we must find her in September, Ariana would LOVE to see her. ::yes::

I believe it is permanent there with regards to the costume changes, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip & Dale and Minnie all have new ones. I want to get a picture of Goofy in his blue and yellow suit this year for sure.

Oooo love your MNSSHP pics! Taking notes!!!

My advice would be if you can afford to do two parties then go for it! I want to do two this year but time constraints may not allow it. The only thing that makes me not mind this so much, is that we got all the characters we wanted last year and can probably get a few this year and fit in the trails, parade and Hallowishes.

Ahhhh your Dream cruise -- so glad we get to meet you two!! Your Disneymoon sounds fabulous!

Thanks :goodvibes When are you there this year? Stef will post our schedule in the PTR at some point and perhaps a meet could work :thumbsup2

How fun you got to colour in the Stitch water art!

Very cool experience and not something that happens all the time i'm sure, even better as we got to colour in Stitch!

Great Boo to You parade pictures and Dr Facillier?? Woo hoo!

Fantastic parade! The ghosts scared the crap out of me lol, I turned around from taking a picture to my right, and BHAM! they were all lined up in my face :rotfl:

Be back soon :teeth:

I'm going with two of my kids along with Tinkermom76 and two of her kids -- we're 5 Girls and a Boy's Not So Scary Halloween Trip! It's September 23rd to October 1st.

We're seriously considering going to two MNSSHP parties, there's just sooo much to do and I don't want to rush around or miss anything.

Haha I hope the boy doesnt get tired of meeting princesses :rotfl:

We felt the same about missing things which is why we did 1 night of character hunting and photopass ops and the other doing parades, fireworks and the candy stations. You will have lots of fun i'm sure.

Just enjoying a cup of coffee :)

 Update will be here soon, just trying to find a way to fix my Photobucket, or use Dave's comp to upload.

Hope you 2 are not spending your free time on the "Kate and Wills official wedding website", we miss you here.:goodvibes

 Can't believe their wedding is coming around so quickly. Can't wait as we get quite a few days off work that week :teeth:

Yay for being all caught up. I know how hard it is to get behind, I am only now trying to catch up myself.

I agree with Dave two parties is defo the way to go for MNSSHP you can get so much done in those two nights without having to feel all rushed :)

We defo have to plan a little meet up when we start the PTR, you have any ideas yet?

I'm not quite caught up but I'm close ... :thumbsup2 We think we've found a great spot to fit the second party into if we go that way. We're also waiting to hear more details on the party itself with Toontown closed now.

We should have an update out today with more planning details.... :cool1:

Did I hear meet up??
We are planning a trip for MNSSHP too, our dates are not set yet.
We are going down for a late B-day trip for me in May the 15th-21st.

Hi Everyone

How is your weekend going?

Ours has been good, my dad opened a spa on Saturday called Neat Feet Spa, where garra ruffa fish (Or Dr Fish as its also known) nibble at your feet removing the dead skin and leaving them feeling smooth and refreshed. Took a couple of pictures from opening for you guys and my friends across the Pond if you ever decide to visit London defo come down and have a looksy too :goodvibes

All my UKers if you are ever in London in the Portobello area you should defo come in for a session, is lots of fun and something different to try :goodvibes

It is mostly for feet, but Dave has his arms in as we were curious to see how they would react to his psoriasis, because as well as removing dead skin they are also supposed to help people with eczema and psoriasis.

They really swarmed on him, so am gonna try and persuade him to try it out again for a little longer to see if there is any difference next time.

Day 14 - Tuesday October 12th
Today was our last full day in WDW and besides feeling ill we were also a little sad that tomorrow afternoon we would be going home to boring old England :(

So to end our vacation in style we started out with an early morning breakfast at Crystal Palace. We were lucky to snag an 8:05am ressie and were looking forward to walking down an empty Main Street to soak in as much MK as we could, as it would be another year until we walked down this wonderful street. So imagine our surprise when we saw this :scared1:

WDWTrip20101978.jpg

There was also a longer line behind us as well. I was in shock I couldn't believe how many people were already there, an empty Main Street we would so not get. So we got in line and waited...............and waited.....................then waited some more. By now it was 8am and I was beginning to wonder if they were ever going to let anyone in as I am betting most of the other people there also had 8am or just after ADR's for CP and CRT. Finally at 8:05am they let everyone in to make their way down MS. Now because we were worried that about being late we ended up rushing all the way down MS to check in at CP.

Finally we made it and checked in. There were alot of people there and I decided there and then that we would not be doing early morning ADR's again, so sadly no CP for breakfast this year.

WDWTrip20101980.jpg

Our buzzer went off and we were seated on the right hand side of the restaurant near to the windows. The CM took our drinks order and we were off to check out what was on offer. Sorry there are no pictures, but I was still in a bit of mood from the crowd greeting this morning, not to mention not feeling well and also having to say goodbye to MK :( Anyways, enough of my moaning, although maybe one last little moan. We picked out our food and sat down with our yummy pastries, fruit etc and waited for Pooh and the Gang to stop by. First up was the main Bear himself.
WDWTrip20101982.jpg

Then came Eeyore.
WDWTrip20101983.jpg

WDWTrip20101984.jpg

Piglet was next.
WDWTrip20101988.jpg

WDWTrip20101989.jpg

Tigger took a little while to get to us so I played around with the pixie dust on the table.
WDWTrip20101990.jpg

Our Server also came by with a little birthday surprise for Dave.
WDWTrip20101994.jpg

Then Mr Bouncy came over to greet us.
WDWTrip20101995.jpg

WDWTrip20101996.jpg

All the characters done, we went back up for seconds. I wanted to try an omelette as I had seen a few others with them and they looked delish. I made Dave come up with me and wait as the line was pretty long. Now here is my last moan, I do not get the line up situation for the omelette station. The chef serves from both sides and I feel like it is not evenly shared out as one line is shorter than the other and the shorter line got more attention than the longer line. Common sense would tell one to go join that line, but I didn't want to look like I was pushing. Anywho, 10mins later it was our turn to order (finally!). Lucky it was worth the wait because it was delish.

Once we squared up our bill we made our way outside. I stopped making notes after Dave's birthday so am not quite sure what we did next. I do remember that we were contemplating doing some rides, but I was still in a mood and couldn't decide what to do. I think we hung around the castle for a little while before saying goodbye. Not the best way to say goodbye, but my excuse is my flu

I think we jumped on the Monorail back to the resort, although I don't know why we got off :confused3 Maybe we went back to the room to get something or whatnot. Anywho, we do have this picture...
WDWTrip20101997.jpg

Which I am guessing is the Monorail for MK as that line is always huge at TTC. Our next stop was Epcot to finish off our walk around the world.

Am gonna leave it there for now as dinner is ready, stay tuned for part two. Which end of WS did we start at? :teeth:

Last full days are quite depressing, aren't they?

I can't believe all of the people at MK :scared1:. We usually try for an 8:05 adr at CP and haven't seen it that busy. I wonder why it was like that?

God knows, but I couldn't believe it. The end of Sept was very busy from Day 1 think some schools either let out early or parents took their kids out, not to mention all the South American groups. We're hoping early September won't be too bad for this year.

We started off in Mexico, waiting for the market to open inside. So we took some pics.

Finally the doors opened and we went inside. I only discovered a year ago that there was an indoor market here and couldn't wait to check it out.

Its so pretty inside isn't it
WDWTrip20102015.jpg

The Cantina looks really pretty as well.
WDWTrip20102018.jpg

We decided to ride along with Donald and the Gang.
WDWTrip20102019.jpg

Was a really cute ride and I love the fireworks at the end.

We wandered on over to Norway and decided to do a KP Mission. Sorry there aren't any pictures. But it was alot of fun, we even rode Maelstrom just to see what all the fuss is about. Not a bad ride, can sorta see why everyone likes it with the backwards drop.

After we saved Norway, we went on over to China for another KP Mission. Again not that many pics but I think out of all the Missions China and the UK are my favourite. Really interactive and fun.

Some lake pics for you.

WDWTrip20102023.jpg

We took some pictures in China as we also rested for a bit (really hot when you hit China). We also ran into our first princess of the day.

Shame she wasn't with Mushu, we love him in the movie.

We saw this little guy floating around.

Another first for us, we wandered inside out of the heat to check out the Terracotta Army.
