The ceiling is just beautiful in the Reflections of China lobby.

Done with saving China we rewarded ourselves with another PP pic :teeth:

Our time was nearly for our lunch ADR in France, so we made our way over. We got stopped by a CM who was watching over Aladdin and Jasmine and she insisted that we take our picture because they would get a kick out of my tee, but we had 5mins to make it to France and the line was a little longer than 5. We apologised and said we couldn't but promised we would be back after lunch.

We made it to France and checked in at Chef's, we were very excited as we were going to be meeting someone very special. Our server called our name and we were led to our table. Was right by the window which was cool as we saw Beast coming out from the backstage area and also Marie too (She's so cute).

Our Server introduced himself and was very friendly and helpful suggesting appetisers and cocktails. I went for a cocktail special which was similar to St Germaine (which I got horribly drunk on the year before on a night out and threw up for the first time - so am surprised I drank that  ). Dave went for a beer.

Appetisers, I wasn't much feeling any of the options, so our Server picked for me so Dave could pick if he felt like it. He chose Assiette Campagnarde, which is an assortment of pates and charcuteries.
WDWTrip20102042.jpg

Dave went for Assiette de fromages de France, assortment of cheeses.
WDWTrip20102041.jpg

Of course he enjoyed all of these, the cheese moreso being as it was his new favourite choice of starter this vacation.

For our Mains, Dave went for Plat de cote de boeuf au cabernet avec pates (braised beef with red wine sauce and pasta).
WDWTrip20102043.jpg

I went for the Croque Monsieur (ham and cheese toasted sandwich).
WDWTrip20102044.jpg

Both were pretty scrummy, although the bread was a little too well done for my taste. Was a bit sharp to bite into it was so crunchy.

Then our guest of honour arrived for a quick hello. Can you guess who it was?
WDWTrip20102045.jpg

Remy!!!
WDWTrip20102047.jpg

WDWTrip20102046.jpg

Isn't he just the cutest, Dave also uploaded a video from his phone.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7K7Dkfr5rI

Next up was desserts. Profiterolles au Chocolat for me and Crepe a la pomme et cannelle, glace vanille, caramel jus de pommes (apple cinnamon crepes) for Dave.
WDWTrip20102048.jpg

WDWTrip20102049.jpg

OMG those profiterolles were delicious!!! Just the right amount of cream and chocolat :cloud9: Dave wasn't that keen on his, don't think he grasped that there would be lots of apples inside bless him (not big on fruit  ).

After Chef's we made our way back to go and see Aladdin and Jasmine, but unfortunately the CM had closed the line and we were too late. Although she could have opened it just for us as she had insisted earlier that we get our picture taken. Oh well never mind. We found a PP Photographer outside of Morocco and snagged him straightaway as we had never seen a PP in Morocco. We had alot of fun and got some great shots.

He said the last one would come out like a huge neverending lake. Came out pretty well.

Cntd...

We wandered the rest of WS soaking it all up for the last time. We stopped by the Champagne Cart and decided to use the last of our F&W wristbands.

I went for the Nectar Imperiale Rose and Dave went for the White Star. I also snagged a little Strawberry Angel Verrine which was yumma :teeth:

WDWTrip20102053.jpg

We finished up our champagne and made our way back to catch the Monorail to the Poly to make a start on our packing. So hate packing esp when you know you are leaving Disney rather than going to :(

Packing done, we got ready for our ADR at Yachtsman. We thought it was a nice touch to have a Signature Restaurant for our last night in Disney.

We arrived and were seated pretty quickly. Our Server introduced himself and recommended a few dishes to try. For our Appetisers, Dave went for the Seared Maine Diver Scallops and I went for the shrimp (which isn't on the Allears menu for some reason).

WDWTrip20102059.jpg

WDWTrip20102060.jpg

Not bad appetisers, but nothing great to write home about.

Next up were the mains. Oak-fired Rib-Eye for Dave and Yachtsman Filet Mignon for me. We explained to our server about our experience at Jiko when he asked how we would like our steaks. He agreed with us that that was more rare than medium to well and recommended that we order the same but also have the chef butterfly the steak as well.

Best thing we did was ask/show our server as he got it spot on and that steak was perfection.

I think it was a combination of the lighting (very low) and the flu but we skipped dessert and headed back to the room to hit the hay ready for breakfast the next morning.

Stay tuned for the saddeest day at Disney, departure day :sad1:

Oh my gosh what a fantastic birthday for Dave!!! :worship: Well done!

Mr McGermy.... ewwwww. :crazy2: So sorry for the luck of your seat.

You have some beautiful Dessert Party fireworks shots... love how the Castle is in the background while the fireworks are in focus. :cloud9:

Woo hoo the Main Street bakery cinnamon bun! Deeeelish!!

Oh the Splash Mountain song. It's Demetri's absolute favorite... you'll have to sing it with him when (and yes I'm saying WHEN!) we meet in Sept/Oct.

I loved your ferry boat pictures ... made me want to be there right NOW. Putting that on our must do list for next trip.

Beautiful PP pictures by Cinderella's well. I can see why they are favorites.

Oh, caught up to my catch up post now ;) Now I'm officially current!!

Congrats on the spa opening! I think little fishies on my tootsies would freak me out a teensy bit but I'd love to hear if it helps Dave's psoriasis.

Oh wow with the CP late start. That's weird isn't it? I've usually heard how cool it is to have those early ADRs for an empty Main Street...? :confused3

I'm sorry your last MK day wasn't better... dumb flu!

I love that ceiling in China's pavilion too, noticed it for the first time this past January when someone else was taking a picture of it. I looked up and it was a beautiful surprise.

I love your Morocco fountain pics... taking more notes!

Your Yachtsmans steaks look very yummy!

So sorry your departure day is looming..... :sad2:

So sad that it's your last Disney Day! I'm sorry that CP didn't work out too well. That is strange that they didn't let you in until after 8:00. I love all of your time in the WS. Lots of great Photopass pictures! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed Yachtsman. I'd like to try that sometime!

How is it your last day already!? :confused3 I don't want your TR to end!!! You two were able to get a lot of great PP pictures, too bad you missed out on Aladdin and Jasmine, that would have been cute with your shirt! Next time!

Congrats to your dad for opening the Spa! Three weeks from tomorrow I'll actually be heading to London to visit my sister who's attending Worcester College this year... I'll be sure to check it out if I'm able!!! (that is, if she pencils in any "free" time for us!) :rotfl:

Another great day! So weird about not being let in to MK until after 8! We've had the 8:05am ADR before and I feel like we were in at 7:45 or sooner!!

I can't believe you'd never been inside the Mexican pavilion before! It's my absolute fav! Sounds like you had a day of great food and great drinks! :thumbsup2

I am sad just reading that it is your last day! But at least by now it's not so far till the Disneymoon!

Glad to hear you and Dave had fun with KP missions- Ben and I are a bit obsessed with them :rolleyes1

Congrats to your Dad on his new spa! I've never heard of a fish foot spa, but it looks really neat!

YAY for you dad opening up the Spa, I have seen those fish on tv before. They are becoming quite popular a very organic way to exfoliate!.Stefy, you have such beautiful skin you should be his spokesperson, you really should. It can't be all just good genes.

You did get quite a bit done your last full day. Too bad about CP, that was really packed outside. We never waited till after 8, that is weird, there must have been somehing going on for them to do that.

Your WS pictures look great, especially China. Don't you just love the inside of the Mexican Pavillion, I could totally live there.

Remy and Marie in such close proximity.
Only in Disney rats and cats can live in harmony.

Too bad you were not feeling 100% that and getting close to departure day can really be a drag. No matter how many times I have gone, and know I will be back, I still get that feeling . I hate even planning the last day .

Glad to here you all get some days off for the big shindig of a wedding! I heard on the news the other day the anarchist will be in attendance not as official guest of course!
We had to LOL, we pictured all of thse 80 year old Sid Vicious types with walkers and hearing aids.

Thanks :) Dave's birthday was so much fun to plan. Don't know what I am going to do this year.

I so hope we can arrange a meet, our schedule is pretty tight so far. Am trying to think of good places to meet. My first thought was the Tambu Lounge as that's a great meeting place but then not so much for the kiddies.

Thanks :) I could not believe the amount of people there that morning and I did not understand why they were making everyone wait to get in. Its not like everyone was gonna crowd rush in (because thats what happened when they finally did let everyone in!).

Yachtsman was a lovely meal, so much so we can't wait to try it again properly this year, with dessert :teeth:

I know, but fear not there is more planning afoot when the PTR starts, not to mention some wedding planning also :)

Its a shame about Aladdin and Jasmine. I might bring that tee with me again this year (Although i don't really want to repeat the same tees from last year).

Ooh let me know if you do fancy trying out the spa and we can sort something out. Both you and your sister will love it, its something that is best done together as you can both giggle about it :teeth:

I can't believe it's your last day already :( I have loved all of your trip report! The food looks great! I stopped at Mexico in April and they had these little round discs with carmel inside and some sort of sweet cracker? Like an oreo? I don't know...but they were great!

That w!as lovely bed time reading material, lots of lovely long updates, but am sad that you've reached the end...I'll be eagerly awaiting your next pre trippi and wedding report to start!!!
La
How cool your dad has opened a spa, there is oneof the doctor fishes stores in B..elfast and my num is so eager to try it!

Can' believe they didn't let you in earlier at your cp reservation, halfway negates the appeal of an early morning adr if you don't get that lovely leisurely walk down main st. Without the crowds.

Glad to hear more good reports about kim impossibl, officiallt on my bucket list

I know, but in 6, hopefully short, months we will be back in our Happy Place.

That snack sounds interesting, will have to look out for it :)

Thanks :) I have one last update and then done and its not a bad update filled with a bit of drama and such.

Yes these fish spas are popping up all over the place. If you are ever in London pop down and check us out :)

Never ever doing an early morning ADR, so not worth it. But then if we did go for one again this year it might be different, could have just been the time of year last year.

You have to do KP next trip, it is quite alot of fun :)

Can't believe I missed you guys, so sorry

Thanks :) It was my mission to make it inside Mexico last year and I'm glad we did as its really cool inside :)

It could have been the time of year and such, but it was weird that they were waiting for most of the ADR's to turn up before letting them in. Either that or there was something going on in the park at the time.

I am sad just reading that it is your last day! But at least by now it's not so far till the Disneymoon!

Thanks :) Yes not long til our Disneymoon. We can start making ADR's in less than two weeks, so excited :teeth:

KP missions are so much fun :teeth:

The last full day is always so sad. :sad1:

It sounds like you had a really great day though.

What a wonderful last day... I love the WS more and more everytime I visit. I still have not been inside the Mexico pavillion so I will make sure I do that this trip!

It's sad that this trip is ending but I can't wait to hear about your wedding and your next trip! Hope everything is going great with your planning:lovestruc:groom:

Stefy and Dave: I apologize for not being around. Work has been super hectic, my brother was in the hospital for ten days and I just haven't had time to breathe (or keep up with your TR or any others and hardly my own PTR). I've skimmed through a lot and the pictures are great. I love the pictures of you guys with the Pooh characters and in WS on your last day.

Thanks, PTR will be starting soon so stay tuned :) Planning is going well, got some bits to do tomorrow, but other than that is going very smoothly (touch wood).

Hey Kathy  Totally understand and sorry I haven't been around your PTR, if I am being totally honest I am finding it quite hard to keep up I got so far behind that when it came to trying to catch up I could find my last post :(

GREAT report Stefy! I've just finished reading it from start to finish and I really enjoyed it. Well done! I'm looking forward to your next one. :goodvibes
